Thanks copper3. Interesting read. Its obvious we need to convince Mr ryan to get his little pen out and signoff the site survey. Its been sitting on his desk for god knows how long. If the Irish goverment were to give a clear signal that they are comitted to gas exploration in the slyne basin then we would secure a farm in partner. In the meantime wressle should give us a lift. Zzz
Lots of information out there on geothermal energy. Interesting read for some on this board.

Worth a listen as to the potential of wressle

@tac having someone from the greens heading Dccae should tell you we have a problem. The emphasis has definitely moved here away from Inishkea and edge to other ventures. "for now" i may add. Things could change further down the line. Morocco is now centre stage. I just hope we can get something from this otherwise we will sit with wressle and not much else imo.
I agree selfish. The focus here has shifted away from Ireland to Morocco. It is pretty clear Ireland has stalled for political reasons. This was always plan b in my opinion.. I think Morocco news will come sooner than we think. Lots of activity offshore currently. Not the best of interviews but i can see where this is heading.
2 million barrels. Now that would be nice

A lot being made of the forth coming energy review.. We may get a better picture of which way Ireland will be going as regards energy security.

Simon doing some PR on wressle... I will take it back from my previous post.

Correct serif. I am invested in both rbd and ujo. Listening to d. Bramil he seems very confident that we will achieve 500 bopd and that could very well be held back due to restrictions. He always seems upbeat when it comes to the wressle discovery. Cant say the same about our man oddie...
The argument for gas exoloration and energy security is compelling. We really have been dealt a disadvantage here with a Mr ryan of the greenies ultimately the guy who will sign off any exploration moving forward. Im hoping the more pressure is put on him he will eventually see sense.
A valid point serif imo also some people seem to forget we still under covid working practices. That has certainly slowed down the decsion making process. Like rubey said this will be back in the 2-3p range with a successful squeese.
Wressle.. Yes there is two approvals in play
Proppant squeeze from the OGA which should be close to completion and is long overdue but out of Egdon’s control. NLC have no say in that process.
Then there is the additional storage which goes through the NLC process as its the hazardous substances approval. Afaik the HSE who have an input into the approval have given this the green light. Storage tanks are in place so approval is to store oil in them. Just need an update from NLC now so shouldn't be long.
In the mean time you'll see a crane in every now and again for some slickline work and routine maintainance.
All just down to patience.

Looks like we ready to start the proppant squeese
I agree selfish. No point releasing figures on wressle. We know oil is flowing and roughly 3 tankers a week are leaving. There seems to be no rush on the proppant sign off. There seems to be no rush on sign offs for Ireland either.. All very frustrating. I did expect more news on the N. Sea appraisal asset tho. The wait continues.

We are still waiting for the little green man Mr Ryan to sign off the edge aquisition also the Inishkea site survey. This has been purposely kicked into the long grass. I know who my frustration is directed at. In the meantime we await hopefully some better news on wressle.
