The only thing holding back Inishkea was Mr Ryan. I agree with Serif, the Ukraine war has changed everything. Security of gas supply is now at the top of the to do list. When Mr Ryan signed off on the Inishkea extension that signalled to me his stance has changed. A farm out could land anytime over the next few months. If it doesn't by year end then that's it. Game over.
Its been pretty obvious here for.a long time the sticking point is the national government sitting on their hands. Negotiations with the majors are well advanced imo. The window of aportunity is still open. Let's see what decision they come to. The clock is ticking.
Just for balance it's precisely 7 years since eiuropa identified the gas prospect's around the corrib license area. It was the reason I initially invested back then. Still all to play for here. As tovoc says something has to happen before January 24.
It was only a matter of time before they changed course. Leo varadkar is much more pro indigenous gas than his predecessor. I'm very optimistic a farmout will be announced this side of 2023. Lots of news on wressle to come and even Serenity may surprise us. Happy to hold here.
Takeover at 5p would put me right back where I started. So not for me. Still holding for Inishkea. With Barry roe being blocked this has to be Irelands only chance of securing a reliable domestic gas supply.
The frenzy with the rush to net zero is going to impovrish millions in this country. Gas has to be the transition fuel. Hopefully common sense will prevail in Ireland and we get a farmout on Inishkea.
Being a LTH holder here I'm very happy to see the share price move upwards. Wressle just gets better and better. Inishkea is now front and center for a farm out and serenity could yet surprise us. 5p average but hoping for a lot more. Good luck everyone
Barrymore is oil. Totally different ballgame. Inishkea is GAS. By year end there will be next to no Russian gas coming into Europe. The war in Ukraine will drag on. Happy to hold here because I can see the Irish government having to change course. Its only a matter of time.
Ignore all the noise and look at the bigger picture unfolding...

Mr Ryan signed off on the Inishkea licence extension. The only one he did put his pen to paper. He has moved his position on this and I'm hopeful now it will progress to the farm out stage. Europa seem more positive on this. I certainly feel a lot more positive after years of frustration
