Can anyone who is technically mined (and genuinely knows a what they are talking about) explain to me the significance of gas “kicking through 11 pound mud”. I have no idea what that means compared to normal mud? (If there is such a thing). I think Bo’s grin tells me it’s good, but how good?

It’s worth noting the standard comments at the end of the RNS about forward looking statements. They are not allowed to be as enthusiastic in words as they looked in the presentation! I think if we saw an interview the grins would be even wider! Anyway, looks like they will be reporting back pretty soon on each target layer. Time to decide if you want in at these prices or pay a hell of a lot more when that first hydrogen reading comes in.

Orange, if you are referring to the last few trades showing on LSE, my guess is they are buys and not the indicated sells. There have been numerous posts on here about how the buy/sell designation works and it is not reliable because it is automatic and based on an algorithm.

I have no issue with healthy debate and disagreements but today has been painful. Petty sniping, rudeness and uncivility have dominated the posts.

My personal opinion is that on its own, it certainly helps but the real derisk would be confirmation of commercial quantities of gas.

We know the gas is there and my confidence levels are high because of the various presentations and interviews.

However, as we have seen today, the market does not see successful re-entry on its own as sufficient to take the brakes off. Patience required but in short supply amongst several posters today!

I would guess that someone is trading this on a massive scale given the timings. Wonder who…………..
