Some substance under the froth..................9 Nov 2024 09:37
a touch of fomo and a little bit of froth, but reflecting back on yesterday, i can see a big week coming.
we are in the window now for a progress report on ingomar and rudyard. there were a lot of posters calling for news this week, despite very clear indications in the various rns's of the timeline and detail on the process and order of events.
what will the progress report tell us? we have no idea so will have to be patient!
the indications (and there are several) are that it will very positive, that is my belief and therefore i am sitting tight with a substantial (for me) holding. i can't be ****d to mess about with trading but i don't have an issue with those who do. i just don't like the condescending and juvenile commentary from some of those who do, and as for the hex v he1 animosity........grow up children, what's wrong with both succeeding?
there is no doubt in my mind of the enthusiasm and belief of the people who matter. at the end of the day we can all speculate as to what is down there and bang our calculators, but it is dm and bo who have the best idea and they can hardly contain themselves in the various presentations and interviews. they could be wrong of course but you can't fake the body language and non-verbal communication that i have observed. they believe and some!
i'm not sure of the significance of the conference and 'tweetgate', but i see it as a positive sign.
anyway, enough of this, it's the weekend and i am resigned to the wallabies thrashing us again as well as another ****-up by ****nal allowing the scousers and city to bugger off into the distance! i will console myself with a home made cottage pie and cauliflower cheese on sunday chased down by a rather nice 2010 chateau langoa barton that has been winking at me from its case for a while :-)
it would be nice to see an end to the petty sniping, downright nastiness and points scoring and for everyone to do well no matter what their tactics or who they invest in. we have the right to free speech in this country but did all those people lay down their lives in two world wars for some of what has been seen on this and other boards recently? food for thought perhaps.............................
