It's a dirty, dirty market AIM. Despite all the 'rules' and legislation, it really is a foolproof way for the MM's to part people who don't have a clue from their hard earned money.
IMO, a few basic precautions are don not invest in something because your mate says its a good idea. do your own research and due diligence, don't believe anything on these boards unless it is a proven long term holder/poster with a good track record (they are easy to spot but do involve some work) and don't invest your student loan/life savings/mortgage your house.
It would be easy for me to be seen as condescending in this post but I've seen some horror stories. This bb (over the past few weeks) is full of posts from people who obviously have no idea about the Novacyt the company, the way the stock market works (and AIM in particular).
We all need to learn but don't do it with the family silver. Lecture over and only in my opinion of course.
