OK, previous RNS 3rd Dec "Formulation Work Update", nothing in there about "news due early Jan" either. SO I ask again, to all rampers here that have been stating over and over that the RNS states there is news due - where exactly is it stated???

"An update as indicated in the last RNS, is due" well sorry but the last substantive RNS was 9th Dec about a placing and makes no mention whatsoever of when an update is due.

Why was everyone expecting news this week and what was the expectation, results of testing? Also, why did this drop 50% back in September?

My only concern here is a short term concern of new release timing. Bond yields are rising again in the US which should put pressure on PM prices. If the timing is against us we could have drilling news on the same day as a big pullback in PM and general mining stocks, which could even cause price to fall. In short, if OMI have any goddamn drill news they should get it out NOW.
