We could get results this week which will include MAP80 which I have high hopes for. I would not be surprised to see a 50% jump as traders who planned to buy before results are suddenly chasing the price.

Who can say for sure, slighyl more sellers than buyers on some days. Maybe traders got upset that not all drill results indicated the best gold project in the world ever due to the significant high grade zinc find? You'll have to ask the sellers why they sold; I went all in at these prices.

Surprised to see this still at 18.50 with drilling results due "around Easter". I expected to see the traders start to come in today given we could easily be surprised by early release of results.

Happens all the time with OMI, even when the price is down for the day.

I made a mistake below about drilling, I believe it will continue into Phase 2 alongside the feasibility work.

EWT98, I am with you man, but OMI will not be selling their stake until the end of Phase 1 at the earliest as it is only after phase 1 will Newmont/Agnico have earned 51%. There are two years left in Phase 1 and that is supposed to complete drilling, fully funded by Newm/Agnico of course. So we can expect huge newsflow here from Easter onwards. I am locked and loaded.

Sotolo, what are you going on about 10p? As the project gets proved up the share price here SHOULD rise significantly as the value becomes clear. OMI have said that their goal is to stay in the project as long as possible.

My understanding is that OMI intend to hold this project until all licences received and drilling completed. Only then will the value of Anza be known. They gave a presentation around this earlier this year I believe, hence the placing, to keep them "in the game while the project value is proven".

Filled at 19p. I think the dip below 20 last few days was engineered to trigger stops. GLA.

Topped up at 18.98 an hour ago, now my broker is not offering any quotes at market, need to enter a limit order which I have done at 19p but its just sitting there.

If IG was hedging these positions, which they should be mostly, then they will be selling OMI shares when the positions are stopped out.

100% of clients are positioned LONG so these sells on IG are positions being closed or stopped out.

Just bought in today, I like this companys Trusts. My SIPP does not allow me to buy US and Canadian commodity companies directly so I hold here and GPM also.

I would disagree that 50m is too high. There are excellent historical drill results at high grade and Apta is not even the best candidate within the licence. Anza as a whole is likely to prove up millions of oz of gold. Add in the high grade zinc and whatever else is waiting to be found and I would say that the current price is low. Of course, there is a long road ahead but this only benefits the patient investor who can take advantage of low prices when the impatient sell.

Aim is obv for impatient traders, this is a gift today for the patient investor. Glad ai kept dry powder from my TSG sale yesterday. Topping up.

My tips before leaving this thread, OMI as I posted earlier, but also for those investors whos broker limits them to UK listed shares , have a look at Golden Prospect Precious Metals (GPM) which is a Trust with a good mix of global gold and silver miners, from junior up.

Brad stated on the call that that other mining projects that OMI have looked at are carrying "silly" price tags on the market. That means all the good projects have been snapped up by diamond hands of which Anza is one.
