Well its not gone bust... there are some well qualified people piling in to support and back this now, it's starting to venture out of the woods from the authorities, people are starting to buy and it has good assets. Of course I don't want to speak to soon but I sense a pulse feel this could be headed from intensive care to the recovery room soon. My point being I don't think this is bound for the morgue any more!
Equally they may well have both the will and the means. They certainly will not want to see the money they have sunk into it written off, TPL has a valuable legal claim pending, good assets and is well positioned to attract Chinese interest... Chin up..
If Olisol are TPL's only hope you are probably right.... But Kazakhstan will strengthen once more with the oil price and Tethys represents an attractive foothold for anyone looking to deploy in on the recovery. In that I see a glimmer of hope so have yet to completely write it off. certainly not for the feint hearted!
This company has good assets but needs and deserves a decent partner to realise value from them. Who are Olisol?? Please someone correct me and show me evidence to the contrary but they appear to me to be of erratic liquidity, murky and undisclosed ownership and in all other respects completely Mickey Mouse. There are great opportunities here for a decent, credible, well funded partner. Come on TPL, get your .... together....
Don't these guys need either a change in legislation or a waiver of exchange controls to draw down a key tranche of financing, like, in the next two months? Surely this is quite some risk now with the currency in free fall and parliament closed???
Someone's finally purchased a few shares in this! I still think its an interesting company but have stayed on the side lines while the Market treats small cap bio like a bunch of plague victims..
All noted thank you. FYI one of the commentators on Bloomberg commented in Mid December that AA will probably be 60% smaller once commodities prices turn the corner.. OK its a very loose and perhaps throw away stat but I took it that it has already been/is being streamlined quite a bit..
Interesting point you make but I cant help thinking at this price it's a viable target for an outright sale? Surely they will hold out to avoid having to sell off DeBeers? By all means correct me if that's not the case though..
"Furthermore, closing of the Transaction will require removal or waiver of the Currency Controls that have prevented draw-downs under the Interim Facility".... So this RNS states that unless state legislation on currency control is waived or changed by the end of Feb this company is going down... I am sure there is plenty of political clout at the highest level lobbying to save it but in the absence of any info on that process I have to agree with Williams142 this looks like a 50/50 double or quits punt at current value...
Yes I've been watching since April and had figured 360 as my buy in. I figure it could bounce from there, at least would not expect it to crash to much further unless commodities prices just keep freefalling... but also starts looking more like a target at those levels me thinks.. still some good assets...
