George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Now that makes sense
With 5.4267 SYME shares in issuance for every single human on the planet I don’t think you need worry …..plenty to go round ….even if the Martians invaded
Did he though lol
Missing the point. Lessons are not being learned on how proper, professional, trustworthy companies operate. They craft all communications honestly and with as little ambiguity as is humanly possible. Syme do the opposite always…..they misdirect and mislead. Buyers beware
Thanks for taking the time to reply T4G and that narrative in the main makes sense to me and really helped cement my own views and strategy. I think the backdrop L5 outlines is definitely possible but the landscape could change quite quickly. For now you can’t argue with the fact that even the middle classes are likely to be affected in terms of available cash in the next year (maybe 2) beyond that it’s difficult to predict IMO. Maybe BOOs market could benefit from middle class families (40-60% of the uk population depending on who’s figures you trust) now having to shop at Tesco, start going for their evenings out to Pizza Express and their progeny now buying from BOO …..my 2 daughters will have to lol …..I’m prepared for a fall back be it tomorrow or a subsequent fall in the later part of this year as I feel BOO still will emerge from the flames at sone point in 2023/4 …..I suppose that now makes me a LTH. Thanks again
My exit from RR on 22/7 @ 93.2p was by chance and not skill. Was just looking at upping my portfolio cash holding to 40% …..I know I probably should remain fully invested but I just do t like the volatility atm and I’m think of moving back to heavily weighted to Investment Trusts rather than being a stock picker myself….albeit with the exception of BOO it’s been a fruitful couple of years. Just as I saw a ray of light in BOO this morning it disappeared in the afternoon and now the RNS…..it certainly rains more in my BOO world than it does in my garden
I’m on your side T4G …I appreciate your posts ….it’s been a roller coaster day and absolutely the fire was put out by the shorters …no question it was too quick and too decisive to be retail activity unless the hive mind has become a reality. That all said it is an interesting question by Henry. We can’t of course no the shorters strategy but they will have (I would assume) a very detailed one including how they would respond to movements like today. What is your view T4G as to when the shorters will move on and what would it take to make that happen. The trading statement in Sept? As you can see from my few posts I am under water here but prepared to sit it out for a year or so. One of us have a crystal ball but I’d be interested in any thoughts
“ I believe news may be delayed but when it comes it will tumble in one after the other”
I believe the World is flat
Today…..did the shorters have a day off, did they attack and not succeed, does it help them if the price does have thus much volatility and they like these 7/8% swings?
At last Orhyblue….you agree I’m right …we are finally getting somewhere…..can’t contradict my post so accepts it’s the truth…..get in
Solutions …hmmmm ….fintech lol…..name me one thread on this BB that has ever discussed, commented on or outlined any part of the tech part of this company …IT HAS NO PROPRIETARY TECH….
Luv …do you do percentages?
Aren’t they already up to their ears in Syme letters after TWs one this week on “A statement is now overdue, for clarification of whether or not its boss, Alessandro Zamboni, has covertly dumped shares.”
Peak……oooh me…me …I know that one…. Please let me answer sir…Is it Bankruptcy …?
Regulator….and if it doesn’t come next week or there is an RNS to say it’s been delayed …..then what ?
Thanks Magpie….helpful and educational ;-)
“As a LTH i am loving not being stressed about making a few quid and FOMO.”
Yeah right
Isn’t that a double negative Magpies?
Rocket seems to have stalled…..
