Huge assumption that they could get even a death spiral loan…..even (or perhaps especially) companies like Venus will be super hot on risk management…..my own view is that line of finance will now be exhausted
Peakhope ….you have absolutely no clue and you are a disgrace leading peoples hopes the way you do. There is ZERO chance of a snowball affect, re-rate or dramatic change if fortunes. FOR GOD’S SAKE MAN BE HONEST !
I have clearly been one if the detractors but despite views to the contrary I really want LTHs to get their money back. My own view at this point is that cash will run out in the next few months and further cash raise will be much more difficult due to track record and economic backdrop globally. I do however think there is a chance of a takeover/buyout by a bigger fish depending on what a genuine and forensic inspection of the business turned up. I think even after all the RNSs and speculation there is very little known about the true state of te Syme business. I hope that there is a buyer out there who thinks their are assets and IP worth picking up
“In a nutshell, meme coins are cryptocurrencies inspired by memes and internet jokes. Dogecoin, for example, was inspired by the Doge meme created from a viral photo of a Shiba Inu. These cryptocurrencies often aren’t meant to be taken seriously but can still gain momentum when members of the community buy into the newest one in order to be in on the joke.
Once it gets popular and spikes in value, retail investors sometimes jump on board and further boost the coin. Prominent online figures and celebrities also drive up the popularity of certain meme coins. Elon Musk is probably the person most famous for it, and there’s even a fork of Dogecoin called Floki Inu based on Musk’s actual pet dog.” John Bogna
Demolition…..”not looking good on most shares at the moment”…..what !!!
The FTSE is on an absolute tear for sone time now and approaching an all time high. The difference is that’s not gambling. It’s investing. I have no problem with anyone taking a punt on the syme’s of this world and of course there are multi bagger examples people can site on high risk start ups. The issue I and many (now systematically banned) commentators have with this BB is the unqualified irresponsible cult like ramping that has gone on here that has led many to be over investing in an extremely high risk stock that is now on the verge of collapse due to being poorly run particularly from a cash management perspective. You do t have to be a maths genius to work out the cash burn is significantly too high compared to the revenue it’s generating and even with all of the high hopes NO companies revenue is going to jump to a level that fast that could sustain this cash imbalance. Borrowing to keep afloat in this economy will be much harder to obtain and much more expensive. Yet still the Syme magic word is being thrown around post by post by post ……the word is “soon”. Soon is NOT going to happen here
Thanks Fishguru...I'm sure you’re average SME wanting to use this service has no concerns at all about Crypto Winter, FTX saga and the fact that explaining how NFT’s in this specific scenario is going to work for them...all those companies CFO’s/FDs (the most risk adverse people in any company) are going to be yeah sounds great! Give me a break! Where’s the lending source from a proper bank????
And let me get this straight you believe this type of transaction is as attractive to the type of businesses you are targeting than a straightforward FIAT funded transaction.....OMG Dreamers all of you!
Forbes: “ But keep in mind, an NFT’s value is based entirely on what someone else is willing to pay for it. Therefore, demand will drive the price rather than fundamental, technical or economic indicators, which typically influence stock prices and at least generally form the basis for investor demand.”
“NFTs are risky because their future is uncertain, and we don’t yet have a lot of history to judge their performance,”
Good point re Vechain. It’s never discussed on here but surely a straight forward Fiat currency would have been a much bigger breakthrough?
Shore: Opportunities for Boohoo, but valuation ‘full’
Online fast-fashion retailer Boohoo (BOO) is performing better than feared and there remains some opportunity, according to Shore Capital.
Analyst Eleonora Dani retained her ‘hold’ recommendation, expecting some positive read-across from Next’s strong trading update last week, and the shares rose 3.3% to 40.25p.
Dani believes Boohoo will have ‘performed somewhat better than feared’ while still trading behind ‘multi-channel business models’.
‘While we think Boohoo played Black Friday relatively well, higher return rates will likely constitute a drag on profitability,’ she said.
‘Our outlook for 2023 is cautious, particularly for value offers, but we continue to see an opportunity in Boohoo, which we prefer over Asos. However, with shares trading on a full-year 2023 enterprise value/Ebitda [multiple] of 7x, we see the valuation as full, noting a lack of catalyst in the short term.’
Dogger69...How big is your short on BOO?
This is the second or third time that BOO has rocked up +15% for the day before quickly being smashed back down in the following 48 hours. That’s not IMO just reflecting the broader markets. It’s obviously benefitting day traders but do they really have the power to create these big swings
Syme definition of “soon”…..”a period within a margin or error either greater than or equal to a very long period of time that may get elongated to a longer period of time dependent on market dynamics and the directors need for elasticity in the timeframe needed to complete a longer process in a foreign principality that would not affect the shortening of this period”
Yes you’ve guessed it I do actually write all Symes RNSs
Utd ….YTD
Peak
1. “Picked a winner”…..on what basis do you say that with most people significantly underwater on their invested cash?
2. Speaking for myself I have regularly and consistently said why I’m here. The fact that you don’t believe it doesn’t make it any less true!
3. What do you think will represent a good interim in terms of Utd profit loss and forecast full year profit/loss?
4. There is as usual no discussion on this board about basic business fundamentals and how the company can continue to fund its cash burn prior to it delivering meaningful income. This to even an untrained eye surely leads to more borrowing at what will be higher and higher rates due to the economic climate
Why are the shirts no closing before Wednesday ?
This post will not age well …
Best post on this BB for a while Nobby!
No not deluded ….Dangerous, uninformed, naive, paid by Syme, unethical, immoral ….I have many more …just take your luck they are all more accurate than deluded
And why to you Marko come on here ….there is never genuine discussion by the so called LTHs about the company or it’s SP mammoth decline or it’s failures…..so one can only conclude you are paid by Syme.
