I sent an email to poly IR late May this was their reply:

Correct, you will be able to connect your debit/credit card to the app, which could then be used for the withdrawal of received dividends.

Example:

If I didn’t use Taby can the dividends still be sent via a cheque? If i registered directly with the company or would Taby be the best option? )

Unfortunately, no. Payments could only be made through a bank transfer. You will not be able to register directly with the company. You will have an option of registering with the app or with the AIX registrar directly. Option of registering directly with AIX registrar portal is currently under development.

Then at a later date I could then use a recognised broker such as Wood and company to buy and sell Polymetal ?

( would I have to leave Taby when I join Wood and company ? )

With Wood you will be able only to sell your positions. You could open an account with Freedom Finance or Halyk Finance which are AIX registered brokers. FF and HF will allow you to make purchasing orders on the AIX.

You will also be able to transfer your holdings from Tabys app to one the brokers if at any stage you will require trading access

I registered with tabys and used a wise card ( like a multi currency top up card ) you get an email

from them explaining as soon as the shares transfer from computer share to the AIX registry they will be visible on the app etc

Yes that’s an idea because we have a while yet until redom so no rush … ask computer share the question initially or at least whats involved

Registered on tabys that was fun !

Because the paper shares are under your name and the tabys app you have to prove who you are with a passport and even a video etc .So when the shares hit the AIX they will onboarded and reunited with the named holder again .

That’s my understanding anyway.

Just use the Tabys for the dividend and only switch to a broker if I want to sell or buy more ( Wood only allows you to sell Poly ) meanwhile if they do develop a direct portal for the AIX exchange then that would be even better…

( Wood & Co will allow selling ONLY on AIX not buying) otherwise it’s Freedom Finance or Halyk Finance for both buying/selling on the AIX )

I sent an email last week to Wood , this was the reply :

Re. Polymetal Re-domicile, we are in the process of establishing best practice to facilitate this process on behalf of Polymetal shareholders.

Someone from Wood’s operational team will be in contact with you as soon as this has been finalised.

In the meantime, can I ask the size of your current holding and how you are currently classified as an investor ?

Well my ex civil service pension is administered by Capita ( Mercer fund ) I haven’t heard anything from capital about my details being compromised

Just a letter back In March saying my final salary pension was increasing by 12.6 % this year

I will let you all know if I hear anything

Yes I asked Lloyds bank last Friday and they said

at the moment, as the holding in currently electronic HSDL Nominees Ltd are what is seen on the register rather than your name so I opted to transfer to paper certificates ( your name will be on the register not the banks ) takes about 3 weeks they said .

Then Poly IR confirmed by email

There is no way at the moment to receive a cheque

direct from the company by registering directly .. however a future option of registering directly with AIX registrar portal is currently under development.

So with Taby you reconnect with your shares add a debit card to receive dividends and participate in any corporate actions/voting etc
