What I am hearing from my ex nhs colleagues is that the rumour about Putins 3 - 6 months left to live has emanated from GE Healthcare in Russia .
( As a guess perhaps staff have spoken to calibration technicians / service of the MRI’s and has this news been deliberately leaked to Ukraine intelligence for greater effect? )


And if true , I can imagine that there is going to be the mother of all scrambles within the Duma to distance themselves from this war ( which will be difficult as they all agreed and are complicit )

I feel more confident now with my holding.
It’s going to be a fascinating next few months!

I did read that the fidelity group did a survey on investors in their platform and found that the most successful ones were either dead , or had long
forgotten their login details and couldn’t be bothered to change them !

and now China looks to be pulling out of oil investments in the U.K. , USA and Canada (obviously they are fearing future sanctions) we however are in the right place right time with Zephyr

The fertiliser crunch is worsening due to Russian embargo and in the U.K. supplies have completely dried up , it’s at a record price that’s if you can find any ! it’s planting season and unless this war ends soon and trade sanctions lifted we will see worldwide food shortages and eye watering prices

A friends wife usually does a yearly recycling
with her sipp .
She contributes £2880 to an HL SIPP, receives the tax relief £720 chooses not to invest but takes the tax free PCLS and draws down most of the balance in the tax year leaving a small amount in as not to close the SIPP and thus avoiding the closure fee.

But now is on about buying POLY ! ( as she usually leaves it in cash etc )

Recently retired and noticed that my db pension scheme is administered by Capita but the fund itself is bundled up with a load of other civil service pension schemes and held in the Mercer group
MERC:Nasdaq etc
I decided to invest some of my lump sum whilst the markets are down , anyway, now that the Ukraine war is at the end game holding CPI should be a straightforward slow climb back to at least £0.50 !?
