Will rest of OPEC support sthng that high? No. Maybe it is an opening gambit so that when they agree on 800ks to 1 million it looks like all sides have won something during the negotiating? Your views are helpful. I am pointing out that a strong dollar is only one of the issues to watch out for. It isn't only a question of charts and trading or buy and hold. I trade frequently. I don't especially see a major retrace unlike previous occasions in past 2 years

The point is that if OPEC increase production by 500000 to 850000 it is priced in so either flatlining or a relief rally....

The thing about a retrace is that whilst one can point to charts, it is only part of the equation. Pmo was at 118p Wednesday and 114p Friday until the Dow plunged. Trump and his trade wars plus nervousness ahead of OPEC had a much greater impact than dxy in my view
