So we wait and hope the coin lands on the right side. At $75 or $80 Brent, 226 is a very attractive acreage. That’s what concerns me most. Shoreline hasn’t proven, at least publicly to help our cause and there are many others that no doubt have their eyes on this play.
Indi, looks like you are the stupid one in the case. Id be mad too if I threw in more money than I should have without doing my due diligence on this company. Best intentions don’t mean squat in west Africa but I’m guessing you already know that.
People who are “bored” and thought this was a lottery ticket are getting the dose of reality. This story has been playing out pre Ebola and each project timeline has pushed and pushed. Settle in or sell. Just don’t complain. No such thing as easy money.
May help those who can’t understand why shareholders didn’t sell into the Liberia drilling “was thought to be one of the country’s most valuable natural assets” that’s why. Then we shot a blank.
Thanks for the dose of reality Jiving. Looks like we continue to wait and could still be months before anything to report. The market didn’t seem very interested in the news, maybe in time we’ll start a gradual rise from here
Maestro you must be new here. That means less than nothing. Stock settled back down where it was to start the day. Only trades on n such big increments because the share is only worth one cent. I will say that the volume is interesting tho. Something is happening good or bad.
Not sure what it is, but I don’t think you can call it panic. You could call it prudent investing, a hunch, or a number of other things. Panic is emotional, selling is largely detached of emotion. Those selling may be thinking clearer than those holding.
Dave, the first timeline the company gave for moving forward was Q2 last year. That then got pushed to Q3 which then....well you get the picture. Sooner the better but 60 days is what I believe we’ll need to wait at the longest for rags or riches
I wish it wasn’t but yes, I think a placing is next. If it happens that way, it’ll be a huge negative. First, because it will be highly dilutive and come at a significant discount and two, sends the message Nigeria is either delayed significantly (I understand the irony) or worst case, is something Art may have to walk away from. I think any negative news pre placing is a death sentence so if that’s the case, he’ll try and hide it pre placing. Alternatively, and hopefully, next news is to update significant progress, it’s game on and the placing will be far less painful. Either way, we should know in the next 60 days.
Have said it before and agree with Jiving. The day the words Mozambique came out of his mouth, I lost a lot of confidence in nigeria. That’s why I’ve always said, in terms of our investment, it’s Nigeria or bust. This company will not make any current shareholders money if they can’t figure this play out, period.
