Agree, I was surprised that according to Aligns estimation the artisinals are currently processing as little as 0.5t per day (it may be more). That is a limitation of the crude refinement methods of course. You can see why they'd be keen to use this refinery! :)

Really if they can just demonstrate an increase from the lousy 0.5t of ore a day estimate that is currently refined by artisanals (Align research note), that would be a great confidence signal to any prospective project partners.

The risk I can see is that the artisinals can’t ge the ore out the ground fast enough with hammers. The placing money according to last RNS is to be partially deployed to getting this site up to nameplate capacity... dynamite is cheap, bigger hammers? It might not be the hardest problem to solve given the gold is close to the surface.

So I think we’re good.

The main driver for SP at this level was a botched finance deal which has since been fully unwound and cash raised with a placing. SP was higher than this when WSBN just had the Dubai trading.

We’ve also seen some gold come into that trading arm via new relationships in Thailand. Interesting to see what develops there.

It’s a good question, no doubt the results over the next quarters are important in that they could be transformational to margins and the key hurdle to closing future contracts in Africa. I’m tempering my expectations of the initial report given they’ll be a commissioning period and the miners need to ramp up the amount of ore they can dig and truck to the refinery. At least there’s a road now to transport the stuff :)

I know folks are really frustrated (to say the least) at PCGE. While you can’t view RP’s companies in isolation, WSBN is looking like it’s on quite a different trajectory. As ever, we await the RNS :)

I’m expecting a trading update as soon as the first shipment arrives in Dubai and I’m hopeful that will be end of Jan/early Feb. Anyone think that’s likely? Or drag out till end of Q1?

I could see the SP increase without news over this quarter... but I presume there’s no AIM rules that would prevent sharing of concrete numbers?

In that deck: 1million invested by the new team, driving new registered users by over 60,000. That looks so strong I had to check several times. £17 a user!? Can’t be the whole story but looks very promising.

That spend was referenced in the recent interview as was the expected future returns uptick.

They also make a point of mentioning their offering includes Slingo.

Concerns around Align and RP aside, WSBN Honduras is up and running and we await a trading report to confirm shipments (volume and margins) from the first reverse integration project. So that really is a delivery from RP in fairness.

A thoughtful post earlier from @alwayswinning says it all really and I think @africanskies has the next step right. Reasonable questions via email to AF. If this proposal is in good faith then let’s here the plan because it’s a totally different proposition to which originally brought us here.

Folks can then take a view and maybe backing/punting on AF with $1m and a decent strategy will apeal. It will suck less than going in blind.

Being absorbed and cross selling between the groups customers would have been enough wouldn’t it? Especially on top of the cost cutting measures, SP would have gone up surely.

This buying a business(es) ambition... how about run one in profit first? It’s just confused the market. If there’s a deal in mind to land grab customers or IP or other, wouldn’t you lay that strategy out? Particularly the size and financing of it?

I’m really disliking how opaque AIM is.

Yeah, I get quoted 0.124 for sell, so they are buys.

The spread here looks crazy, L2 board shows 15 ask, though clearly folks have managed to buy under that... could this be a sign overhang has cleared and a move up is likely?

Completely agree, on presentation the guy irritates me every time with his smugness. But that’s a character of a few CEO’s I’ve known... I think you’ve got to have some interesting personality traits (to put it politely)... :)

That aside, on content and strategy I like it. I agree I’m looking forward to a trading report from Hondourous to prove the placing was put to hard work. Also agree some concrete signal from any Africa projects would ignite the touch paper here.

Same directors, clients, leads, product etc. The new owner spinning up a subsidiary shell business with new ticker and name to absorbe IMTK into makes perfect sense and is typical.

I have to agree, it’s a buy and slightly over current price. Perhaps slightly complicated earn out but much of it contingent on a couple of deals closing and account receivables being paid by existing customers. That’s pretty easy to feel comfortable about.

So what we’re left with is a name change and a new parent company that has an AI focus - that sound very strong when you’re in a sales meeting for new biz believe me!

Agree 1 million isn’t going to by much unless they find a distressed buy with some wizard IP. Perhaps they have something in mind or perhaps they will use it as a war chest for biz dev.

Bit of a shock but I’m not seeing a huge negative here really. This looks like it might be a top up opportunity?

Yeah! Guess it can trade sideways for a bit longer, but profit is profit and when Q1 comes in it has to go up.
