Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
Getting close to the wire for news now. But I agree with Ray’s point about withholding inside information. The call was planned weeks ago, so if they had inside information then they should have released it previously. So I don’t think we’ll have any news unfortunately. This call will be a depressing rehash of lost hope and pipe dreams.
PetTrader, your post presumes that the BoD hasn’t attempted to obtain/obtained 3rd party litigation funding and is using raised funds for litigation. I don’t think we can assume anything right now. I’m hoping the BoD will provide much needed clarity on several areas on the forthcoming shareholder call. Until then, any speculation on an anonymous BB is pointless.
I note Darwin was involved with HNR 4-3 years ago when the company issued Darwin warrants which were then flipped into the market. The SP collapsed but the company is still trading. So I don’t take your argument that this is “death spiral financing” if the funds enable the company to survive (ie not die) and pursue its projects in the long-term. An outcome, which is preferred by the majority of shareholders I’m sure.
Tango1, they can’t withhold inside information though can they? So if they have the seismics results now then they should be released to the market. Obviously there is a degree of verification involved because the BoD can’t release misleading information.
Pinguser5, I can understand the new CEO being busy with developing the new strategy and getting into the detail of the 3D seismics, which we can only hope and pray deliver the goods for long suffering shareholders. But what the hell was Colin doing over the last couple of years? The strategic review that resulted in nothing, getting absolutely nowhere with increasing production - just sat there doing nothing watching the wells decline waiting for the Slovenian authorities to reply? I know he took a pay reduction, but I think even then it was a pretty good pay for doing nothing. Thank god John Buggenhagen has taken over and that Colin finally had the good grace to step down and hand the reigns over to an o+g man. I think this company has one last throw of the dice left now. I am waiting with bated breath to see which way they land.
