Connect4, that’s not right. AST have to pay the loan back including interest @ 10% in a year’s time I believe. The loan has nothing to do with the shares issued to Riverfort. The scandal to my mind is that these shares have been issued but Riverfort have not paid full value for them. They are paying on a monthly instalment basis depending on the average monthly SP of the preceding month. So the lower the SP goes, the less they pay. Meanwhile they are selling these shares in 2-3m batches into the market, but they’re not selling at a loss as they never paid full value in the first place. They only pay a premium if the SP goes above 0.27. So seems they can lower the SP by selling the shares quickly.
