If the MRE comes out at 3BT of ore at 1%Cu equivalent, then our share of the metal in the ground at Cascabel at 80% recovery is worth £90billion! Current mcap is ~£600mn or 0.75% . Surely such a well proved up and large assett as this is worth more than the current share price.
I dont think you do recall correctly Tipsa, the 3-4 billion capex was for a mine in the high Andes not this o9ne at lower levels with a lot of infrastructure nearby. This make the Cascabel prospect even more attractive to a buyer or investor..
I have calculated that the planned drilling at Cascabel should be complete by the middle of October, so it wouldn`t be unreasonable to expect an updated MRE by November would it? All in place surely now for a sready ramp up over the next 6-7 weeks imo.
Well done to the team to complete and test 3 sidetrack wells in Canadian winter ahead of schedule. Cabot seems to be heading in the right direction at last.
Baron has built an interesting portfolio here with varied interests in North Sea, offshore off south coast and In Peru, any one getting into production will mean a sharp rerate northwards of here.
