I didn't think you'd have a worthwhile answer but to call me negative and compare me to another poster who frankly has not said a positive word about SolGold in 5 years.

There are more negatives than positives at the moment. That's why the market has us at 7p and fairly weak. I thought you'd know how a market works?

Before you try and counteract with excuses about liquidity, please remember that you're talking about them selling on the open market in the same breath.

Their stakes are strategic and likely more investment based. SolGold doing the royalty deals they have has probably seen to that.

All eyes on what happens post elections. If the company can demonstrate itself to be on track there may emerge a window for some action. The list of suitors is shrinking though.

You've always got to factor in the sentiment of legacy holders wherever you go. Not everybody shares your sentiment because not everybody has your position.

Correct NMM. For all the misgivings and for all the fluff you hear about the asset from people trying to blag it, it's a case of following the money of those who have supported this company with considerable time and money.

There's zero guarantee KAV will get to commercial production in Zim. No mine plans have been shared with investors. No feasibility reports. Nothing.

Wiltshireman - I'm well aware of what the idea is behind raising money from capital markets. But I'm thankful nonetheless for you telling me what I should be thankful for.

I take exception, as any investor of rational mind should, is a company raising excessive funds at highly dilutive prices, as KAV are developing a record of doing.

The company states that this financing should take them through to "free cash flow". That will be interesting to see considering we're moving to mining operations by the end of 2025 with no idea as to whether those operations will be financially viable over the long term.

I also note that we have no idea who is going to be taking this placing. Can't see Purebond being diluted yet the details have been withheld. Interesting.

Hard to see how placees are going to make a dime from 0.7p. Real value of the company probably about half that.

Fort, the LSE has been a declining market for years now. The same applies in the UK across most industries since Brexit.

The British thought they could go it alone but what has really improved as a result? Our financial markets aren't as robust that is for certain, demonstrated by the dramatic fall off in IPOs.

I didn't miss your point. I just don't think it has much relevance to SOLG. Yes, we'll see London miss out as the top companies go elsewhere, but junior explorers and developers like SOLG have a choice between London, Toronto and Sydney. All three markets are a much of a muchness.

Fort - why should LSE price mining companies "correctly" when nobody is bothered about the market for them at current levels?

There are very few investors amongst PIs at least. Most are just rolling the dice, trading around placings etc. It's a deep-rooted culture and isn't going to change.

SOLG back to £200m valuation and might not bounce for a week yet. If people don't want to buy it at £200m, I'm sure we'll see £180m.

That's the market working how it should. It's just that we don't like it.

I'm not sure why Anglo will need to go on a buying spree if they do fend off BHP. Besides, they operate in Africa rather than LatAm.

BHP will likely need to go and lick their wounds if they lose out. As for Newmont - plenty going on.

SOLG may play out in 25 if Noboa get a mandate to continue his work and permits are applied for on schedule. They are both essentials.
