Yes, all sounds very good with the previous historical breakeven target of 400 headsets now cut with the current averages its looking like it will happen closer to 300.

I think this was probably the most optimistically excitable CEO interview I`ve seen!

Yes they can be semi-useless depending on the story of the company and the sentiment of the market participants as a whole. You can stand back and look at a longer term chart and be able to assess whether the market likes the company....a long term ascending triangle for instance where the dips kept getting bought up at a higher low. Exactly what happened to Boohoo a couple of months back. My Brother was holding from a very low entry and he doesn`t do charts either, but he was going to sell up, and I said whatever you do wait for a bit longer. The price was 176p. The pattern went on to break above the flat top of the triangle and he sold at 220p. He hasn`t bought me a pint yet for that one!

I`ve had this `chat` many times with the non believers who think its all hoodoo and reading chicken bones.
I`ve been studying how to read chart patterns and signals for a long time and have come to one main conclusion.
Investing or trading successfully is down to having a good understanding of technical analysis AND fundamental analysis. Fundies for the `why` and techies for the `when`!
I always use the analogy of a snooker player, who has to be able to pot balls as well as being able to control the white...if you can do both you stand a good chance of winning.

There are chartists, and there are chartists...so just because some newbie TA student calls something wrong doesn`t mean that all chart signals are useless.
On 24th July this one was suggesting a good set up was developing with the sp `touching` the 50 EMA, which was also a previous strong support/resistance level (3 times) at 27p, daily stochastics was oversold just below the 20 level, as was the RSI below the 50 level and starting to rise back above.
When you add in the fact that it was the Bidstack chart with the strong momentum it had been showing it was a no brainer for a good chartist, and I`m sure plenty used these signals to buy, and are now sitting on a 30% rise in 4 trading days! So using the charts on this stock is very definitely worth it.

ps the other reason it was a great set up was that at 27p a trader could use a 5%-10% stop loss as the risk reward ratio....perfick!

Yeah, what you don`t want is a fund raise to keep the lights on and pay wages described as `operational cash flow`.
These have wise plans for growth with the £2.5m with breakeven and subsequent profits in sight, which the market should approve of in the weeks and months ahead.
Strong buy at this level.

Come on Bob, speculation was part of the reason Bids went from 12p to 40p in just over a month, and has helped in holding the price up after a good few weeks without RNS news.
This is one stock where speculation is rife for a good reason, not like others where `high potential` speculation is unjustified.

Just to add, the day traders/investors were always going to spot the breakout on the chart and buy in for a wee profit, and/or a great entry in expectation of some Q3 news flow.

You for starters with your `sick of the what if posts`....unless it was tongue in cheek, but it didn`t sound like it.

That was my first thought, but after watching the buys come in its looking quite promising for the future of the company. At least they are planning to use the money wisely, and shouldn`t need any more fund raising because this one should provide through to breakeven and in to profits.
I was thinking about selling, but having thought about it I wish I had some spare funds to top up.

Not sure why all the whinging about people posting optimistic forward looking messages here, just rejoice that the view of the company`s future is widely thought to be very good, and with James Draper in China this week we should be whipping ourselves in to a frenzied froth about what the next RNS will bring.

Look on the bright side I say, after all, if any of you are like me you will also hold shares in company`s where the discussions are infested with derampers, doomsters, gloomsters and deliberate wind up merchants disrupting the chat and trying to talk the sp down.
We did have one here, but the performance of Bids caused him to throw in the towel, ffs don`t entice him back!

The IPO sellers might be making a decent profit at these levels, but they can only sell them once...and the new buyers/owners of the stock at this low level will be the ones who make the biggest profit in the medium/long term, if they hold them long enough and don`t get all starry eyed at say a 25% - 40% increase.

A Lenovo deal announcement will accelerate this transfer of ownership of the company in to shareholders who want to be invested for the end game. The recent rate of new deals and subsequent rises in volume shows that its only a matter of when, not if, the Mcap of this company increases significantly to reflect its real value....and the sellers will be rueing the day they suffered from starry eye`itus themselves.
There will be a tipping point, its just that nobody is quite sure when it will happen....yet!

Any decent, or dare I say `significant` increase in grades from the whole bag samples will see some strong buying at these ridiculous low levels.
They are sitting on a tranche of high potential targets in the Victoria region, one of the worlds major gold provinces. Total recorded gold prodution, from 1851 to June 1998 is around 80.4 Moz (2500 metric tonnes)!
ECR’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia (“MGA”) has 100% ownership of five gold exploration projects in Central Victoria, Australia.

In late 2018, MGA moved into another world-class Australian gold province, the Yilgarn in Western Australia, by applying for nine exploration licences hosting untested gravity-magnetic anomalies representative of potential greenstone-hosted gold trends. This 1600sqkm package is referred to as the Windidda project.
MGA has accumulated tax losses estimated to total approximately AUD 66 million from its past trading, and these tax losses are expected to be available for offset against any taxable profits made in future.
With all this, and the fact that they are fully funded until next summer, the current Mcap is a ludicrous £4m!!

Ha ha, there you go, almost as I remembered it.

poortrader, Solgold had a sudden turn of events when they didn`t have a pot to pesh in. One of the big players came in with a £10m investment if I remember, which changed their luck. I think BHP tried to get a slice aswell, so it was the injection of new money which gave them the boost to the share price and sentiment.
1p - 45p took about 12 months but was pretty much vertical.
I`ve annoyed a few people over there when I correctly called the top in `17 and since then there`s a tug of war developed with the big players so the sp has been declining.
Some Solgers think that it will go `a lot` higher but with a current Mcap of £570m I`ve argued that the stellar rise is done and dusted, its high was c£750m with the gold and copper still one mile underground!!
ECR`s many targets are a fraction of that depth so its all about waiting for the results to confirm what we have.
A strong set of nuggety signs should see big players taking note and a change of sentiment and Mcap that we all hope for in the not too distant!
Maybe not a rise as powerful as Solg had, but a 10 x bagger is easily achievable from here.
