You`re right...you`re not aux fait....they sold down their holding from 15.91% to 13.55%, and still hold 71,100,000 today.
Helium Rising Stars Fund took part in the placing shares at 0.5p and held 19.89%. They then sold down to 15.91% in the middle of May (exactly 2 months ago), and the company saw fit to comment...

Simon Humphrey CEO commented:
"We understand that the size of the holding had grown to 15% of the portfolio in one stock and prudence dictated trimming back a little, and is not an indication of lack of confidence."

Doesn`t look like they`re mad sellers desperate to get out since the last few % sale was two months ago.

I just tried phoning the Nomad, but the particular names listed for ECR are `remote` working, I was asked to leave a message and number for them to return my call but I`ve tried Nomads before and been told they`ll get back to me! Yeah right, that old gag!

Priceless....and seems like the derampers are the most accurate with their views over all after a brief traders rally the rampers are back on fire trying to talk the stock up so that they can sell!!!!

Interesting find ginger84, it seems like they`ve wiped any reference to Windidda from the website as well as wiping any reference in the `About ECR` note at the bottom of recent RNS`s.
In the `Sale of Exploration Licenses For Cash` RNS on the 20th April 2020, and the AGM Statement on the 27th April, the `About ECR` note at the foot of page says.....
ECR is a mineral exploration and development company. ECR’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia Pty Ltd has 100% ownership of the Bailieston and Creswick gold projects in central Victoria, Australia and the Windidda project in the Yilgarn region, Western Australia.

But from the Half Year Results on the 30th June onwards the `About ECR` note says...
ECR is a mineral exploration and development company. ECR’s wholly owned Australian subsidiary Mercator Gold Australia Pty Ltd has 100% ownership of the Bailieston and Creswick gold projects in central Victoria, Australia.

No further mention of Windidda as if they`ve just disowned it, or probably just mothballed the idea of doing anything with it.
Its a bit odd that they would just omit any mention of it considering that they haven`t announced its sale, and has obviously been done deliberately.

The only thing I can think of is that they are 100% focused on the Victoria licenses so no need to talk about it, but strangely do still mention their interest in the Danglay project in the Philippines in the `About ECR` note!

Having said that, I do believe this time is different for ECR because there`s too many positives in our favour.
The breakout of the previous (c18 month) trading range under high volume speaks...ahem...`volumes`!

Correctamundo....this is not a chart driven situation at the moment, its a news and Mcap driven one.
A big news RNS like a multi£m JV or farm in and we could be seeing a further rise to 5p+ in my opinion.
A bad news RNS like `not able to come to an agreement at this time` which will leave ECR to go it alone and the sp will drop back below 1p in a matter of minutes...in my opinion.
So charts are completely irrelevant in this current situation.

The Creswick project is considered highly prospective for gold mineralisation hosted within the Dimocks Main Shale (the "DMS"), which extends over a 15km trend from the mining centre of Ballarat to the south, approximately 7km of which is covered by MGA’s granted exploration licence and exploration licence applications.
In the project area, the DMS is an approximately 25 m wide shale containing bedding- and cleavage-parallel auriferous quartz veins. The width of the shale and the occurrence of multiple veins in some zones indicates that potential open pit mining targets may present themselves as exploration progresses. Almost 1,500 shallow primary workings have been mapped in the belt from North Ballarat to Spring Hill (Creswick).
The DMS is the source of much alluvial and deep lead gold. Historical alluvial production is estimated at up to 2.5 million ounces in the Creswick/Berry lead system, and up to 11 million ounces in the Ballarat area as a whole, of which the DMS is a significant contributor.

MGA completed 1687m of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at Creswick in February 2019 for 17 holes. On 8 May 2019, ECR announced that the majority of the drill results had been received, with grades in nine holes ranging from 0.6 g/t gold to 44.63 g/t gold.
