Yes it seems advertisers have held back somewhat during the lockdowns globally, because people can`t go out and buy what would have been advertised.
But thats a temporary slowdown, and once the vaccines do their work over the coming weeks and months, and Govt`s take people out of house arrest, the advertisers will ramp up their campaigns again.

Advertising is one of the most aggressive industry`s out there, and will be one of the first to go full throttle once humans are let back out to play.

You`re quoting historic cost of sales figures on what must be `test spends` in large, then up until June 20 when their `highest`revenue number ever was only £275k. Which coincided in a drop in the cos %.

I don`t think that the publishers would be able to claim the same % level (70%) as the ads are ramped up from `test` to `plan`going forward into the 10x`s or 100x`s of millions of eyeballs.
Surely economics of scale would allow Bids a better arrangement as they provide the technology to be able to automate the process programmatically via their platform?
Previously publishers could only include one suite of adverts in any one game until a new version came out, but with Bids technology that can change on an hourly basis in the new games....surely thats worth more to the publishers, and would have to share the spoils around more in recognition of why they`re ad income will increase on each individual game.
The commission share model can`t be applied in the same way as before.

Yesterday was a bit disappointing I`ll agree, and JD could do with a lesson in communicating with shareholders, but its still just the start of an extended journey which I still believe will be very lucrative at the destination.

Others on social media have been a bit surprised at the over reaction, as I am, and am expecting a bounce when the doom and gloom dies down.

Also, he went with my baseline figure transferring the H2 `20 run rate to the full year `21 without any increase in the next 12 months! Highly unlikely!

And, he did his 72% deduction to the example figure of c£3m due to cost of sales, then added a monthly costs figure of $733k on top!!!

Seems like he wants to add the costs twice!

Last night I asked Roley to break down his cost of sales number of 72% on the £1.7m revenues. He didn`t reply.

So I`ll do it.
His number is taken from the interim results in Aug last year associated with the 6 months ended June 2020...
Revenues - £274,079
Cost of sales - £197,337

How can you possibly read across the same cost of sales % to the full year when a lot of those costs would not be repeated? ie some costs of building the platform, tech updates etc would only need to be done once!
My point is that you can`t just apply the same % across the full year...its not knowable until the full year end report comes out.

Its not as if Bids have inventory, raw materials purchase, overhead manufacturing costs, transport costs etc which would be the same for a manufacturing company going forward.
Once the hard work (outgoings) of building a platform, console etc are paid for they don`t need to pay for them twice.

So applying 72% cost of sales to the £1.7m full year revenues is bu***h*t, and I have a feeling Roley knew that anyway....thats why he didn`t reply!

DireEmblem, there is no blueprint for a net new ad category, by its nature it is new.

So it is not unreasonable to expect a certain amount of uncertainty in the roadmap, both positive and negative.
The end goal is still clear at Bidstack, and they believe that they are now the leader in the field of native in-game advertising.

Its a new tech growth stock.

Roley, break down your cost of sales, and your monthly costs, you seem to be using the same calculation twice!

Roley, you`ve just confirmed my point, so what about the run rate of c£300k/month income in the last 4 months of 2020? Does that not count?

Or have you calculated that to now go to zero without any evidence?

I was about to make the same point after listening to the vox interview. Rampy/derampy Justin Waite could not wait for Alan Green to finish his point before jumping in with his yeabuts!
If H2 `20 revenues of £1.4- £1.5m continues without increasing in H1 or H2 `21 then that is giving a run rate of c£3m INCOME for the year, with a starting point of having £2.7m in the bank now!
Equals over £5m cashflow for the next 12 months.
At that rate they could very well need to raise funds later in the year...if that run rate does not increase.
If new games and/or deals come to fruition in the next 6 months, which I would think is likely considering where they are now and how developed the platform is, then that need for further cash gets pushed back.

I think some people think that revenues are not able to be used for paying wages etc, and are somehow locked away in some `untouchable` drawer so that they`re only allowed to use whats in the bank now....and when that is used up `we`re doooomed!!!`

Yes, the sells were taken at the higher price downwards during the over reaction, and now the buys have kicked in at the lower price, so are larger in number for the same monetary value.

Should bounce a little from here simply due to the overall progress of the company, running campaigns in over 30 countries, and second half revenues much higher than first half...probably weighted towards the last 4 months.
Those revenues aren`t going to stop like a light being switched off, people around the globe are still playing games at a massive rate, and growing, so revenues still incoming.
Good to see the buyers swamping the sellers at this low level, and all that wanted to sell have now done so.

Lets be honest, this Warrants issue is a big problem. Its a problem for the company, the placees, the shareholders and the share price...at the moment.
So the company are having to tread carefully while they try to negotiate with the placees.
I think they are holding back on progress while this gets resolved, and quite honestly I was reluctant to vote against but went ahead anyway.

If this hadn`t grown to such a level of revolt I honestly believe that production would be flying and the sp would be much higher than it is today.

I understand all the arguments of greed etc and won`t be getting in to an argument about it on here tonight, but lets face it, the sp will be stagnant until this gets resolved.
Hopefully there`s a negotiated agreement soon, because we need these masks to be available across many borders, and for the company to be getting the message out to many main stream media outlets in more than just the UK.

Fair enough jp, but I`m all for the whole world knowing about our tech, and can see the biggest revenue coming from licensing the use of the patented membrane tech across the planet.
One machine in the UK is not going to meet demand.

But it leads me to a curious thought, I`m genuinely interested in understanding how they come up with an r number of 3 to 3.5 if it was uncontrolled?
It seems a bit odd to me that 3.5 is the maximum r number!

I`ve had a look at the Govt sites and can`t find any reference to it...surely it would be almost unlimited if it wasn`t controlled.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

The word `currently` is the confusing bit, and suggests that its the `current` state of affairs.

I think it would be sensible to be clearer when posting.
Also the herd immunity would eventually kick in if the r number is below 1.....as I understand it, and the CURRENT rate is 0.7 to 1.1.
