I have been doing a lot of research about what we have in Patterson, The last RNS that i read is May 1st, not seen anything come through since then. - I actually started the following paddy Monday tho having stopped using it a few years ago, I am not so not in the habit of checking it that often. The PRIM tweet as it sounded like H&P was doing the buying, and what has been missed off of all this, Paddy has retweeted something from H Trader, and can clearly see the line of "A CLEAR TARGET FOR NEWCREST" - Which really makes a little more sense.

There is so much information flowing at the moment, and I do not necessarily understand all the "talk" surrounding this.
- So is this actually the start of a formal takeover?
- I presume I get a say in it?
- Do the board have a say or is this just a case of "we are buying you, and there is nothing you can do about it"?
- What about Newcrest, do they have a say in it also?
Presuming it can be sold to the highest bidder and not the first person that throws their hat on it to claim stake.

I should be rejoicing, but I feel disappointed.

But if Newcrest has GGP in their pocket, who has a lead geologist that has a knack for finding the stuff in the ground, and gives the data to them what does it matter to them if they have to pay out a percentage of what they make.

Surely you're better off keeping GGP on the side as a partner, rather than buying them out at the door of the first mine and then GH/CB running off to RIO with the next discovery which could be a bigger payday.

Sell the licence, not the company. keep the partnership (that is working).
NO point in digging a hole if you do not actually know where to dig.

Tig, I am with you. No interest in anything other than long term stability. Selling the rights to HAV will open up so many new avenues that will make the company stronger, bigger, and over all profitable, with a sky high SP to boot.

Bronze, Tom, Would the introduction of Institutional Investors(?) mean that the MM's would stop screwing with the prices, or would they still do that anyway?

I am also making the assumption, that if they start buying, that it will have a bearing on the share price, as they will buy multi-Million numbers of shares?

So the information would almost be drip-fed? The MRE would essentially be done to satisfy, legislation, tick boxes and be part of the due process, then as they get going, they will/can adjust the information accordingly.
