RE: Anyone home at TLOU ? Or is it close the door behind you and throw away the key ?12 Jul 2024 23:18
Do you really expect them to say anything other than we are really busy with ..... And in any event, year end is an Accountant's world thingie. And anyways, what is there for the accounting side to be busy with. Typical disingenuous carp.
Quarterly will be end of July latest - because that is the deadline. Hence why they like to look good by being a week early quite often. No problem with that; and besides often there is little real substance to ever report.
But then, we are gearing up for flow rates, gas composition, completion of sub-station, energising the TX line, connecting to the grid, selling power (assuming they can generate it in first place), earning Revenue - which wont get paid on time, finalising project finance (for what exactly ? ), talking up the opportunity, telling us how wonderful being connected to the SAPP finally is, and blah blah and more blah ...... And one morning we will all wake up and read about the 1 for 3 Rights Issue that is essential to really cementing Tlou's place on the IPP ecosystem in southern africa. Because the opportunity is so huge, none of us should miss it. Then everybody (except me and BTS and Whizzer) will be saying Lads we gotta go to the well one more time, and then we will be rich beyond our wildest dreams because TG is on a hattrick and we must no doubt him.
The only bit in the above i reckon may not happen is the part where they release flow rates and gas composition, sticking steadfastly to the view this is commercially sensitive information. Eeerrrrrr, why is that please? I mean, Tlou are the most advanced gas to power IPP in the region; they want more players to help service the market opportunity, grow the pie, more than enough for everyone, yada yada, but still they will not share the info that is the determinant of future success. Gas composition and the costs associated with making a 2MW proof of concept be proved.
I cant wait.
