What the combination of verbal + nonverbal suggests strategically
Putting the verbal and nonverbal together, here’s what I infer:
• They are in “credibility building” mode. The management is making sure investors, partners, analysts understand the science, understand what’s novel about P140, and believe in management’s ability to deliver.
• They want to justify the recent share price rise / re-rating. By doing detailed interviews, stating firm scientific arguments, patent scope etc., they help reinforce to the market that the revaluation has basis, not just speculation.
• They may be positioning for partnerships / licensing or raising further capital. Solid science + strong intellectual property + clear messaging = better positioning for dealmaking or investment.
• Managing expectations but leaning optimistic. They do mention the challenges ahead (not always in detail), but the tone suggests that these are manageable, and that the upside is large.
• Minimizing risk narrative. By focusing on what is well known (patent filing, proven MOA, earlier data) rather than emphasizing uncertainties, they seem to want to reduce investor fear
