Pat we design chips in many mobile phones. There is no practical way Europe could stop using those chips. If they want to stop using our intellectual property virtually every phone in Europe would have to be switched off. Obviously not happening. There is no circumstances where trade would totally cease between Europe and UK.

Pat all empiric evidence shows a country with lower tariffs is better off as tariffs are s tax on consumption and inputs. We should therefore scrap all tariffs. Not that we will have the sense.

What about fuel miles snige? Why is the drax power station burning wood from California when it could just burn coal from here? Coal would have less fuel miles and wouldn't deprive woody woodpecker of a home. Also coal produces 40% less carbon than bio mass not that that really matters.
