Bsmonitor there is no counter example in the history of economics where lowering tariffs didn't create more jobs than were lost. Just the jobs lost belong to noisy large corporates who lobby and own government. Unilateral free trade would see GDP soar because many new enterprises could start which are currently constrained by the CU as all world commodity prices and good prices would be tariff free.
