At which the republicans took to the systematic destruction of infrastructure. The damage this mindless destruction did to their economy meant the free state could not pay its share of imperial debt in line with the Anglo Irish treaty (the thing the war was fought over). The British in their kindness therefore allowed debt relief in return for the NI border remains unaltered. Unsurprisingly the Irish skirt over their civil war in their schools because it reflects so badly on the leaders who created the free state.

Crowcast there is a 6 month period between the appointment if new commissioners and elections. If an overwhelming majority of anti EU parties win power it's perfectly feasible a motion of censure could used to remove them more quickly. Can hardly think an anti EU parliament would want Juncker hanging around another 6 months. Granted it's unlikely the anti EU parties won't get 2/3 do the commissioners can cling on 6 months and try and find another gravy train.

Even losing a motion of censure vote Juncker and the like can cling to their jobs if they get a third of the vote. Really is a rum rule that they can cling to power in that way.

Utt hopefully if filled with anti EU parties the parliament table a motion of censure against the Commission and force the whole corrupt lot to resign. Since the parliament has no legislative initiative this is the really only option open to them to force change, as the parliament can't create any laws itself only votes on them.
