New poster Radagast guesstimated at least 20% profit margins on the RGM/LH coal JV, i will also have a guess. :) With 4 months now gone my guess is this coal joint venture is losing around $600,000 each month.
I would like to think MOD SP would be higher than it is today before doubling the amount of shares in issue to raise this $60m ,meaning we would be something closer to having a 19% holding from 25%.
You will also have seen the travesty in the RRR Annual Report where the BOD subscribed for $400,000 of loans with Amulet Diamonds way back in July and didn't bother to RNS it at the time. Just put a small para in the Annual Report just now in Nov. Imho, an appalling state of affairs. Just a callous disregard for shareholders imho
Sorry do you mind explaining that in a little more detail.
So if you are right failure for MET will have far greater consequences for RM and its shareholders than we previously thought .
Its hard to imagine any profit on 1 shift per HW this will needs to change before the 3rd June loan deadline .
The real question is how long can RM test shareholders patience by not publishing profit forecasts .They have some how managed 3 months but would shareholders tolerant 6 months?
A big cost for MET has to be the 3rd party coal they need to purchase to blend with their own coal, this could represent 20%,30%,40% ,50%? depending on what the ratios for the blend are.

Of course some remember another record breaking Andrew Bell performance when he quickly lost around 2 million pounds by investing with Stephen Mosicicki during 2016-17.
well its nice to see someone making an effort to try and construct a breakdown of costs.
We need MET to make around $3m profit after 9 months trading to clear our loan otherwise some of our newer shareholders are going to find out exactly what a "Good Rodgering" really means!
I agree with that but I suspect the hire cost might be more like $500k a month, management /directors might be earning more than $45k and there is a local 5% tax too.
Also if a HW shift is only made up out of 3 people what are the other 69 employees doing and what are their energy costs.
Don't we sell some blended coal too, if so what are out costs for buying this blended source?
Wont the land owner want some money too seeing as all the coal is his?
