So two pages in the times, pretty good if you want to know when all the bad news is at an end.
Can it get much worse , probably not in my opinion.
Which is why after a sell off tomorrow and a bumpy week I think we hit the bottom.
Hence, I will be looking to buy in a weeks time.
At some point everyone gets bored of the negative stories and we go back to a fast growing business.
Might not be the bottom next Monday but think we are close.
Blimey, you made me smile,
My favorite saying is never tell people your problems because half are happy and the other half don't care.
I would love to know the reverse,..... don't tell people your success because everyone cares and none is happy for you.
;-)
I assume you were just trying to wind people up.
Just be aware that when HMRC tap you on the shoulder if your gain is over £12,500.
You are likely to get a 100% penalty on the tax owed.
Better to just declare it or transfer half to your wife as inter spousal transfers are exempt.
So you can make £25,000 pa tax free etc etc
I have a confession!!
I agree with PeoplePower comments.
ie 'Do not trade this just hold it'
My reasoning is that the management are looking for this to go a lot higher for their bonuses and they strike me as people who like a bit of financial motivation..and will do whatever is needed for them to hit targets.
What real reason was there for it to fall so far ?, none, storm in a teacup.
The results will be excellent, just like every other time. It is more a question of how excellent.
The tech market is booming just look at US and digital sales going through roof. .
US fund managers talking about looking overseas for high growth companies, CNBC this week half time show.
The MM play with this every morning to try and worry people that it has gone to far and easy to be caught out.
Just sit back and await £4.
Difficult I know as never a bad thing to take a profit but in this case, do not try and be too clever.
Hello, there tends to be a lot of posts on here having a go at people.
Some saying stock overvalued above £2 whilst others saying £4 easy and ridiculing anyone who disagrees.
An argument for the sake of it, how does that help?
I have absolutely no idea of the value of Boohoo, but I do trust Richard Watts at Merian/Jupiter and he believes in it with close to 12.5% of his fund invested.
Look up his ratings and take comfort from that.
Not to say it doesn't go to £2 but think that is unlikely.
Good luck all and try to be nice.
From memory, the shares normally have a bit of a run up two weeks before the results . From what Chris has posted re interview ,they will likely have another rise after the results. Everything is a risk but looks like large upside potential with little downside.
I am sure I read there was no more bad publicity. Imagine my shock at turning to page 7 of the times and seeing Boohoo being ****ged off.
Instead I read a load of drivel about UFC and how much money ...
Or arguments about what should be posted.
May I suggest post useful information on the company like they have been ****ged in the times. Where was that and if it was posted why do I have to read 100 useless posts to find it?
Sold £150,000 Merian mid cap when shares were £4 as I thought price too high. Got slaughtered on here for it.
But at this level, they look a buy to me, might take 3 months for them to go higher or may have a bounce to £3.
I do not know, but in 3 months this will be forgotten by many, maybe a few ESG Zealots will not invest but most will .
Half the ESG funds love a story about changing a companies behavior more than investing in a squeaky clean company.
Time to be sensible and admit at £4 they looked expensive but now look cheap, but could go lower which is why I will buy more Merian tomorrow. Just hope price stays here or ticks a bit lower.
I am no expert but when did young girls use twitter, all instagram, so let the left wing liberals, who use twitter, boycott it as they do not use it at any rate, Come to Kew not a lot of BOO around here! Will be gone in 5 minutes once people find out those behind it are another bunch of Marxists and the BBC get rid of their stop Boohoo badges.
