Agree that it will be intresting to see how a competitor has done when they announce thier results , cinemark haven't had a short squeeze like amc for example. And they do have similar markets, locations etc

However if cinemark produce good results I think its unwise to expect bumper ones from cineworld. Hope and optimism maybe but not expect.
As mentioned they do have more screens , more theatre's and how both followed very similar paths in the share price etc etc, but what comes with that are also more costs and overheads. Both have different ammounts of shares in issue , different debts.

Am I suggesting if cinemark produce good results we won't? Absolutly not
Am I suggesting cineworld will produce bad results if cinemark produce good or bad results , again absolutely not.

I just think it's wise to concentrate on our own house , our own revenue and our own results. Observing others is one thing but is a dangerous game once comparisons start similar to how it was when AMC had their squeeze.

I do hope expecting little surprises in regards to major positive with regards to results are unjust , I would like nothing more then the idea and realism we have bumper results , its exactly what this share needs especially going into the autumn months with some blockbusters.

Twohits my understanding was gangfeng were buying bacanora in its entirety, which include the assets, so I presumed gangfeng would have a stake here once the expected offer and takeover happen.

Am I wrong , I hope I am , last thing I want is gangfeng here too

While I'm not expecting any major surprises in a good way with results I have been more energised when I saw rolls royce results today , a company whos had a major impact with travelers and managed to post a profit and better then the expected loss of just under 200m

12th is a big day for the s.p but other then knowing the true finamcials and direction we are going jist another day for the lth here

Im sat wondering if and when a offer will materialise and how many RNS of form 8.5 and 8.3 we will see in the meantime.

My educated guess reckons that the offer will come approx 7 months 30 days after the first possible offer to buy , Purley on the approx 8 months time line.

My guess of rns inbetween is 1,034,567 , I also believe that the stock exchange has recruited a team of 4 people to input this data on a daily basis.

7 months 30 days and 1,034,567 rns later I will still be here holding my shares as tightly as possible.

So secker if your reading this , and you believe I will fold and chuck in my shares cheaply your very wrong , if anything the anger that grows watching this only makes me determined to hold them longer.

When you finally win secker which I believe you will , gangfeng will be paying maximum cost to prize away , why simply because when I sell is one scenario you can't control!!!!!!!

Personally I think too much is being read into it , I came across like a deramper this morning, I genuinly wasn't, the rns was just update , nothing special regarding the licence, every single person here is expecting it to be approved in time , even the market.

With regards to the gold its such early days for it to be troubling the s.p just yet ,it needs time and patience let them see what they acctually have first, the market will respond positive over time if its good. They are exploring a area and have found some gold , good start , let them dig deeper and over bigger land and see what they are acctually dealing with first.

The drop in S.p , my portfolio hasn't had the best days and putting it down to market in general. Not the rns update

100% agree, pull backs are normal , there isn't one stock that goes up in a straight line.

Based on a expected licence update which isn't signed and a gold update that can take years to get to production.

Dan Mar for someone that's also in ggp and should understand how long a junior miner takes to get to a rising s.p through gold I find your prediction for week end staggering.

Ggp has a world class mine and still it's taking time. Other then that your prediction is based on a licence being signed. (Which it will in time)

Today was a good update, certainly not whinging , just trying to put things in context , we expect the licence to be signed , BUT it still hasn't, gold has been found but very very early stages .

Whys it AMAZING ,

License is has been expected for a while now, and will be approved in the short term now , we know this and market knows this.

The gold has a long way to go yet before anything is priced in the s.p.

Also notice they want to start phase 2 by late summer , well we are already in Aug so that will be pretty imminent too, I know tati is early days but nice to see more movement on a different project, its hard where to put your eyes right now with so much going on.

I have a good feeling with all the projects going on at least a few will turn into big discoveries.

And a few is all we need

Ash if the stats written are true , 65 deaths in a country with a estimated population of 330m is very small.

The US population is approx 5 to 6 times more then us, I'm not saying we should divide that figure by this amount, but I very much doubt covid is in the top 10 reasons for death out there.

I have heard it all here over the last year and a bit.

No-one expected the sharp rises and no-one expected the massive drops.
At 1.20 NO-ONE here expected drops to these levels and at 20p NO-one here expected rises to North of 1.20 in less then 5 months.

My point matey any responce would be pure guess work , based on personal opinion and hope. I think everyone here would be happy with a rise on the 12th , my personal opinion based on the loan being their if needed it will go down.

I would like nothing more then to say i was wrong and we see a good rise after better then expected results, truth is we just don't know what will happen

With zinnwald still having nice gains (over 110%) last 3 months on its share price you have to wonder if even the board are looking at this deal thinking this may be too cheap now. ( I doubt it)

Gangfeng must secretly be licking their lips watching the value of zinnwald increase week by week , making the purchase of sonora turn into a laughing stock.

I'm happy zinnwald is increasing as now I have my first bag , but at the same time makes me more angry that the potential offer is turning into a complete joke.

Bacanora for God's sake no-one is forcing you to sell.

I also stick by my opinion in the fact last 3 months some lithium stocks have seen some crazy rises, I genuinly believe we would of seen some nice rises also , but all the time this joke is hanging around our necks the S.P will do diddly squat!!!!!
