Morning.
I think we'll certainly get to the DFS in Q1 2019 but what happens after that is anyone's guess. Majors are going to need that tied down before making any kind of move I would assume.
I concur with doubts about MOD/MTR taking this into production. Especially MTR, just no way hos imo, that's not our game. We'll be looking to get increased exposure to a ballooning MOD SP via a bigger equity stake to vastly increase our balance sheet I'm sure, maybe in chunks as we work our way around this mammoth acreage.
MTR take the hot profits out of one exploration play and pour them into the next play (very much a Swing Trading MO ala myself as it happens) and we've already seen that next play lined up with our up to 50% stake in KML.
Quite how this plays out in that respect is anyone's guess of course but we *know* that whatever chunk(s) of the acreage get sliced off for production in 2020, MTR will have to be out of at least that portion of the JV during 2019, probably by Q2 2019 I would guess, to facilitate funding to production, or, indeed, an outright T/O of that area by a major.
My (total!) guess is that we could be looking at deals being done to shift that T3 area JV stake over to the balance sheet via increased equity in MOD, making way for that zone to be sliced off for production, probably multiplying our balance sheet numbers in the process.
If MOD then do a deal with a major for that area, and that area alone (*cough* it is very close to Cupric Canyon's resource *cough*), sending the MOD SP flying in the process (and our balance sheet with it), then perhaps we're looking at the pair of us sitting on a mountain of cash and each still with big stakes in huge acreage, much equivalent to what we had prior to the KML deal in MTR's case.
MOD/MTR can then go after the other JV areas, T20 Dome etc and MTR can look for another big win in the new KML acreage. Acreage adjacent to an area that a major(s) have demonstrably proven their willingness to buy into post-exploration.
I suspect that's something like the ideal scenario here and it potentially changes MTR from a six month hold to a two year hold to wring the full value out of it :) Perhaps that's Rick Rule's perspective too, hence the 10m in MTR warrants at 6p.
