I.E. how much Copper each person uses, not the whole country.
Germany being so far out in front is still interesting though - they're obviously big engineers/manufacturers so that'll add a bunch but I would imagine it's probably just an indication of how far advanced they are in terms of national infrastructure, particularly with respect to electrification, and the density of that infrastructure.
Compare to places like China and India with their billion+ populations that are strung out all over the place across vast swathes of land with next to nothing inbetween the population centres - much like America but on a bigger scale with virtually no connection between those centres - power lines etc.
These are the places that will drive Copper growth (over and above EV demand) as it's a known fact that as GDP per capita grows, so does Copper usage per capita - more fridges/kettles/phones/gadgets etc. When you're talking about a quarter of the World's population using a tiny fraction per person of what most developed countries currently do then the growth potential is phenomenal and it simply has to happen.
