Gold, Copper, Silver, Rare Earths and O&G basically make up my entire PF for the past couple of years ...
Not so off-topic this copper/power related stuff when you hold the patent on a particularly low-energy solution to the rare earths issue - the point (for me at least) in pointing it out as a related issue is imagine the costs of energy when they can't fix this shlt - the economical aspects of the IP gets yet another boost in the eyes of a potential buyer of that IP (which is surely odds-on now?).
Meanwhile, back in China:
"China’s purchases of US soybeans appear to have stalled less than two weeks after a wide-ranging trade truce suggested thawing relations between the world’s two largest economies. Traders reported no new shipments following last month’s initial orders, raising doubts over whether China will meet the purchasing targets cited by the Trump administration.Washington said Beijing pledged to buy 12 million tons of soybeans by year-end, followed by 25 million tons annually over the next three years, though China has not confirmed these figures."
