One thing's for sure, if the process to get to the required grade is prohibitive vs the price premium paid by the market then producers won't bother doing it.

One other point I picked up on my recent Nickel travels - Nickel Sulphide deposits, as a percentage of total Nickel deposits, are said to be falling dramattically over time.

Nickel +4.6c on the day but don't watch it every day obvs ;)

FYI, the LME are considering separate pricing for Nickel Sulphate which would bring some transparency to the issue.

It's a *hugely* leveraged bet on the Nickel/Sulphide price, period.

PS: It's perfectly possible that Nickel Sulphide (what you need for EV batteries) starts to command a premium over the Nickel spot price by then too of course. Also recognise that adding data from the 2018 drill campaign could, conceivably, pull that PFS $8 down by half a buck or so.

Nickel price is key obviously but you also have to weigh the multiples on offer from the current mcap of £22m against a rising Nickel price as and when that's seen to materilise so keep an eye on it - not daily!

When someone drops a PFS with FCF at something like 100x the current mcap over the LOM at a Nickel price the World Bank expects to see by the start of production then you need to at least give it a strong look imo.

See that 6-month Nickel chart with the nice IH&S on it, screaming a return to the $7 top of last Summer as seen on the 1 year chart? Note the LME stock levels too - a leading indicator (a few months lag typically as seen on Copper's big rise recently) of an impending rise in the price when they restock.

The odds of Nickel dropping significantly against the backdrop of a plummeting Dollar are slim and none imo.
