Big money is very net long commod plays - much of that money coming from overinflated big tech play selloffs.

5 year+ commods boom supercycle is in play imo.

Still oversold on the weekly with a cracking MACD unwind in progress - typically difficult to get people to sell up in that scenario.

Just my read of course but imo all you need to know about the "issue" was flagged when they listed on the NASDAQ ...

I've done my best to lay out the events that should move the SP up and down over time.

On face value, the PFS should suggest an mcap up to 4x or so the the current on a big SP spike but it would be reasonable to expect a placing following that to fund what I would assume is a BFS that would be required ahead of any T/O action or funding for production to even be a conversation.

The big and very rapid rise to 18p a couple of years back was indicative of where the market thinks this could climb back to, or at least a significant portion of, on the expected, and pivotal, PFS news finally arriving.

How much of that 18p is seen over the coming months remains to be seen but I wouldn't be surprised to see it threaten low teens again before the inevitable pre-BFS drift you refer to in H2.

It's obviously capable of a Big Fish getting involved due to the size/strategic nature of the asset - Russia/China/India said to be involved in that respect according to AMC's site.

My main point re similar discussions at SDX following the c30p placing was that a subsequent placing never materialised and the SP more than doubled from the 30p.

Well that is bullish if they're hatcheting it in the ST :)

@ skittish - some similarities to my eye on the growth topic being discussed with SDX in the early days - i.e. will they, won't they place to fund a growth acquisition at the time following the initial 30p(??) placing to fund that growth - those possiblities didn't stop the SP more than doubling from the initial placing price of course before a longer-term drift set in.

I'm somewhat expectant of a similar outcome here with the added hope that the bigger bumps upwards (beyond 20s) actually arrive due to delivery of the bigger picture potential in a more timely manner than at SDX.

FWIW, my read based on chart and perceived fundamentals, is a classic grind-out of PIs by the "market" below what I'm guessing is a likely SP floor of 5s/6s even post-BFS funding dilution, and they've been doing that for the past 12 months which is absolutely how it "should" be.

Timing, as ever, is the most important aspect of trading/investing to get right - news drops when the money guys are positioned and at no other time.

Looks about right to me, certainly at sub 3p.

Things (news) tend to take a marked turn for the better once a Death Spiral deal has been used to decimate an SP.

Again, cancelling that deal at mid-teens (like AAOG at 6s), pretty much right on the money to my chart-eye, has to be seen as a big blue flag here imo.
