Looked decent from low 5s to me so all the more so at mid 4s - one of many PM plays I've entered (and added to today) these last months.

Epic 20k jobs miss today and I expect a p*ss poor Q1 GDP report to put the final nail in the coffin re another rates rise with probably QE #76 in play in H2 as we enter recession but we'll see how it goes.

They may pin her to a c780 close today but then absolutely anything to the upside could kick off next week imo.

It starts right here, right now mate imo.

I expect Q1 GDP numbers to all but rule out another interest rates rise this year = QE #76 in H2.

Tough market at the mo - some ropey data coming out of China - everything but gold taking a hit today. My 50-company pick list was +20% for the quarter two weeks ago, now it's +12%, obviously plenty of cash looking for an exit market-wide recently.

I can't say I'm overly concerned - a typical forced drift ahead of significant news in the weeks ahead.

She's rejected mid 9s half a dozen times over the last couple of months already, I've no reason to think she'll do any different IF they can get her down to that level again over the coming weeks.

Nobody buying at around 10p these last month or two is sitting on even a paper loss compared to some of the instant money-halving shenanigans elsewhere (kindly offered to us at twice the current price in here on multiple occasions of course) so you either go and chase P&D rainbows elsewhere or make like a limpet and stick to your guns until the games are over here and the news starts rolling in - it's your money :)

Standard MO really mate - people naturally assume the buys/sells are by humans but it's not always so - often bots will be ordered to pin a share price and hence you see the alternating manipulative "sells" following buys and vice versa that we've had here for many weeks now - often with the aim of accumulating PI sells to fill a large order, or vice versa.

Those algos often work themselves into a (literal) corner at some point where the SP simply cannot move without a pivot of sorts breaking either to the up or downside for the left-hand to right-hand "trading" to continue - quite often on the back of news.

Bots in an algo trap presumably - I've pointed out the possible/probable breaking move this week on my chart notes with a c10p floor being seen/maintained.

I'm assuming the bots are waiting for someone to push the button for a break/reversal here.
