FWIW - the only way I see us being shafted at 15s is a lowball placing or the Gold price dropping dramatically (seems unlikely to say the least) which would slice some value off Dugbe's PEA book valuation.

As I tried to get across yesterday - the "market" has marked everything, other than Dugbe (£52m) and the £7m cash, to market at zero pounds and zero pence, hence the 15p/£59m mcap floor.

I.E. if Yanfolia and Kourassa disappeared right now it wouldn't matter a jot at this mcap, it's already been priced in.

Whatever the imminent Q2 production cash build is will be added to that 15p/£59m mcap floor, regardless of AISC improvements or otherwise.

My view is that if you're interested here then you need to be getting whatever you can under 17p.

So, 7% inflation in the UK by April which is half of the current real world inflation (with "CPI" @ 5%) suggesting real-world inflation will be c20% by then.

Interesting that the average price of BTC during the Feb-May madness was around the current BTC price yet the SP here was well north of £2 during that time and now it's at 120p.

Presumably they're eyeing a return to £3 or so from this bottoming shaking.

The most interesting aspect of France/Gold/Africa was Macron recently trying to convince other EU leaders to sell their physical gold "to Africans", offering to act as an "intermediary" no doubt.

He knows what's coming.

@Guvvi - if you like Gold and think it has a bright future (who doesn't?) then that 10m in cash is likely to be 50x bagged within five years or so - HUM is a £1/2b mid tier Gold producer in the making and currently being sold at virtual zero if you know how to value their assets to set a mcap floor.

Nobody knows what the reality of Mali is and by the sound of it, not many appreciate that it's relatively small beer now there's 3x projects on the horizon in other countries but if you don't like it then don't buy it ;)

No confusion but industrials drive inflation, Gold plays catch-up, it's that simple.

Real world inflation YoY @ 14%, Gold down 7% or so in that time - it "owes us" +20% from here, i.e. a return to $2k with the real blow-up coming sometime after that - from January 2022 IMO.

Do run your rule over HUM - they're lining up 300k oz pa going forward (3x projects) and currently at "zero" at 15p IMO - Q2 production update on the 18th October.

ADP just dropped a big jobs beat but that's, typically, not a reliable source.

That's the beauty of the gold/inflation play though right now:

Good jobs = more inflation

Bad jobs = more bbbbbrrrrrrrr = more inflation

Many of these jobs are "jobs" of course ...

Low 120s @ HOC looks fab IMO but it could turn at any moment now.

It is and the forward-read on their prospects is jaw-dropping.
