Au contraire - if you're about to drop a DFS then the basket price of rare earths becomes everything :)

Some talk of China maybe overtly helping Russia out and/or going for Taiwan - that'll put the cat amongst the pigeons for sure - yes, those rare earths are in China and if their exports of those end being compromised by tit-for-tat sanctions then I doubt there's an asset out there that will see see a bigger uplift in price.

Ifs buts and maybes as ever but China's stranglehold on those commodities is obviously a catalyst-from-heaven should it all kick off.

I highlighted it a few weeks ago but it was always a guessing game where the bottom would be but never really any doubt it would fly at some point - legendarily oversold technically - got some at 0.27 the other day - see how she goes but also a guessing game where she ends up and when, wouldn't be surprised to see it 10x.

This likely isn't going to stop going up for a while :)

In the next few weeks - they're likely waiting for this down leg on Gold to complete - shouldn't be long from the current position.

The 10-year is now at 3% - the cost of servicing new debt for the US has increased 12x over the last 20 months whilst their $trillion pa trade deficit continues to expand.

FOMC this week - likely the last chance the Fed have to BS and then the market is going to call them out - again - soon after IMO.

YCC perhaps only six months away and that's the ballgame.

Just tapping a 50 RSI on the monthly/oversold on the daily chart now which is a nice position.

See what happens and, yes, can't rule out a manufacturered shake if the broader market continues to go down but that's obviously a buying opportunity here.

I don't generally take that much notice of director buys as they're often BS but the NED's £700k at 24p is as big a buy as I can remember seeing anywhere so 15% off that at 20p looks pretty good on face value.

Re my prior marks about the Gold price being an exponential value increase catalyst here re Kouroussa & Dugbe - a nice +$40 jump in Gold last night in reaction to the GDP miss (Amazon's miss too - cya Discretionary Spend ...) which isn't surprising - raising interest rates into a -ve GDP number has maybe never been done before so a lot of money will be spooked/defensive right now I would think.

IIRC, I bought my first Gold coins at the bottom of the drive to $2k in early Jan, fingers crossed I timed it right yesterday too :)
