Depends how far you want to go back garonne, I’ve been around for a long time. Yes I was frustrated wit bond late last year, for reasons I have expressed before (moving goalposts). But don’t think now is the time we need to be changing ceo. We have a product to deploy and we’re in that process. If it slips by a few weeks, then so be it, it is a challenging situation in terms of supply. Bond certainly has enough shares to have enough skin in the game and incentive to want this to fly just like any one of us. I’m a normal long term investor, sometimes I’m going to get frustrated, but ultimately I am hopeful this is going to come good, which is why I keep my money firmly in. Completely happy with my investment and have enough time and patience to ride it out, whether bond is there or not.

Garonne - I don't claim to know why they wouldn't report on deliveries. There's probably a couple of plausible explanations;

1. They are waiting for data to come back from them before releasing anything - perhaps kicking out the predicability of RNS's is what AFC think will help the SP go up significantly?
2. They are looking at a big marketing activation around these deployments, so are keeping their powder dry for that.
3. The deployments have simply been delayed by a few weeks due to component shortages.
4. The deployments have been delayed for factors outside of AFC's control (partner readiness)
5. AFC have been too busy focussing internally (using resource to induct exponential numbers of new staff) to focus on external PR which is not legally required, and which isn't necessarily the big bang moment as they see it.

I'm sure people can think of other reasons why they haven't reported deployments yet. All I'm saying is that at those times we would have a resonable ask for the company to clarify. Right now, all we would be doing is nagging them for not delivering when they may not have missed and are not required to update us anyway. IMO. DYOR.

Garonne, RE 'The lack of news is taking effect'. This is just plain wrong. Look at the sector, look at crypto and other indicators which show this is not an AFC specific drop.

DW. There's no requirement for news to come out today, tomorrow, or even this week. We know they should be delivering systems this month (if they haven't already), also that the ABB system is due by end of September. This should also coincide with some data and hopefully publicity from power tower systems being in the field. To set more reasonable expectation of news, if we don't hear anything by say, end of September-Mid October, that's when we have a real complaint that we're not being kept updated, as we would be at the end of a stated and significant period (expected delivery to ABB). We have to be patient until then, unfortunately.

In the background, it seems that AFC are clearly scaling up from a resource perspective. Let's hope for the best and stop putting the company down at every opportunity. If you're still in, clearly you have some kind of hope that they can deliver, otherwise what is the point of your existence here?

Marley, I think it is a good sign. A lot of the new heads seem to have been R&D, but we seem to now be hiring for more deployment and manufacturing staff. It would be an even better sign to see more sales / account management jobs being advertised, but perhaps our reseller model means we can be lighter on commercial staff. First step is proving out the existing units though, so one step at a time.

DW the telecomms market would be in play once we have the power tower linked to an ammonia cracker. This is when it becomes more compelling for that use case...

I didn’t say 150-200pa packets are going out right now, but it is where it is heading though. I don’t state that as a negative, it’s a good thing that we are hiring staff. Per my post earlier today, deployment staff and manufacturing staff are exactly what we want to see.

Bovril, correct, today there are circa 107 employees, but the expectation is that this will rise initially to 150, and 250 thereafter. It's not first hand, but it's in there in the research notes.

And in answer to your question about why Im coming to his defence - it is defending his right to voice an opinion. I'm sick of trolls on both sides. You're the lead troll of the uber positive pack.

Before anyone questions the £50k average salary - Look at how top heavy AFC has been. On top of that, consider AFC are hiring engineers and developers with specialist capabilities mostly. They are not bottom heavy yet with blue collar workers. I am therefore happy with £50k. Even if you don't agree with the £50k as a base salary and go lower, you still have to add benefits to the overall package and you'll end up at about the same number.

Regardless. Ramping up in staff is a good sign, and as DW suggests, there's good runway and opportunity for us to see a good run for the Shareprice, if history is anything to go by, at least a couple of times.....
