Kept a little powder dry of late and decided today was a good day for an ickle top-up. Only a couple of £k, but will have more funds available for the run up to spud.

£1.2bn International money transfer start-up.
I’m convinced Tally could obliterate the competition using Gold as conduit for international transfers.
Almost Pay Day again, so looking to top-up my portfolio and researching for a low MCAP, low risk O&G Drill for this year with exceptionally high CoS and fast track production of initial 2,000 to 5,000 bopd and potential for high growth multi-well field development and potential of sale to major within the same global region.
Any recommendations anyone....?
Just updated the App again.
Not sure how long it’s been there, but only just noticed: “International Payments - Coming Soon”
I work overseas and just asked Tally support about accepting US$ payments:
"I'm afraid at the moment we only accept GBP and Euro deposits, although USD payments are something we definitely plan on introducing at some point in the future."
Things are definitely happening behind the scenes and I personally think Tally will build exponentially, from what is already a solid foundation. Free or low cost international transfers using Gold as a conduit would send Tally straight through any glass ceiling and into orbit.....
Always the local currency.
I got confirmation from Tally prior to a holiday earlier in the year:
“Please remember to pay in local currency to get the best conversion rate from MasterCard. If you choose to pay in Pounds abroad, the local bank will charge you whatever conversion rate they want.”
Not sure about Turkey. I’m sure Tally support would soon answer your query.

1st Aug 2019 charged 0.54 Tally (£0.02)
Didn’t think it was bad as I had £8,000 in at one point for a holiday and associated spending money and was lucky enough to have caught a nice upward run on the price of Gold.
Job at Railsbank anyone....

The value of our interest in Railsbank must be doing well.
Nice update.
Also on iOS
Kenco222,
I've just returned from Cyprus and paid for my Hotel bill and food & drinks with my Tally Card....All good.
See my previous posts for more details. Only thing I didn’t try was getting money from overseas ATMs, but according to the Tally T&C's it shouldn’t be any issue and not incur any charges. I got my holiday cash earlier in the year, before Tally launched, otherwise I would have simply used overseas ATMs to avoid the poor exchange rate when I exchanged in the UK.
Next year will probably go paperless with only a token gesture of cash for ice-creams....LOL
bassguy,
I’ve transferred from Tally back to my bank account a few times now; not sure of the mechanics behind the scenes, but has always registered in my bank the following morning.

Martin Lewis talking on ThisMorning, discussing holiday money and spending overseas.
.....Sorry Martin, generally a big fan of your advice; however I’ve just smashed your recommendations by using my Tally debit card, on my two week Jolly in Cyprus.
Hotel paid for via my Tally debit card....no hidden charges; no commission or poor exchange rates. Also, a nice increase in my balance due to the appreciating price of Gold...almost enough to cover our hotel bar bill.
#TALLY #TALLY #TALLY
Just checked-in and paid for overseas hotel with my Tally Card for a fortnight (Eurozone).
Our default Credit Card would have charged us an overseas usage charge of 2.75% equating to €110.
Tally Card worked out exactly as per Google Exchange rate at the time.
Time to enjoy our Jollies ;-)
Loaded up recently to primarily benefit from from the fact that there are no overseas charges for an imminent holiday, but clicking twice by showing a healthy return from the recent increase in the price of gold. Showing nearly 2% overnight alone.
Very simple platform for trading gold.
Gold has been on a nice little upward trend of late.
Loaded up with Tally recently and looking at a very nice return at the moment.
Keithbfk,
Took a couple of hours for me, but that was during the beta testing phase and also on a Sunday, so would expect it to be quicker now or in the near future.
"TALLY also has significant holdings in key technology partner Railsbank Technology Ltd, as well as gold mining and exploration interests in India and Finland and we shall be updating shareholders in due course on those fronts, along with other activities in the lead up to the Company's planned listing later this year. The immediate next stage regarding Tally® is to further fine tune our processes with a larger customer base, before an official press launch as we focus on increasing users and spreading the message of Tally®."
