I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but...
When Robin opened the meeting, he said something like,
"I want to thank shareholders for taking part in this vote. Participation has been unusually high at 25%, lucky to get 5%. That means I can get a good idea about the feelings of shareholders, who are mainly small PIs"
As if he wants to use this result to send a message.
Throughout the Q&A he never pushed the deal, imo. Like, on the issue of the unsecured nature of future payments, they said 'Yes, it's a risk' and basically agreed with us.
This isn't Robin's deal. Spiv thinks we're desperate.
