Spiv could be a front man for a load of sanctioned oligarchs and unless we can prove otherwise, we are dead in the water.

Putler went too early. By starting his invasion in February he gave Europe time to fill up their gas storage and find LNG alternatives. Now we've had a v mild October the chances of us making it through winter without any blackouts has increased and gas prices have decreased. He knows this is the last winter he will ever have any leverage over Europe, he will never be trusted again.
Russia doesn't have the capacity to mount a large offensive. They are a spent force.
Ukraine on the other hand, will spend the winter being trained to use the latest Nato kit, somewhere warm like Spain or Texas - ready for the spring.
These poor Ruzzian conscripts will probably surrender over the winter, after a few nights freezing in their sleeping bags that they had to buy themselves.
