Your degree of optimism is commendable but sadly misplaced I forecast three times in the last twelve months that this company was dead in the water and believe me it is .

Obviously short of experience on the board but if you intend to stay in the loop you will need to wise up,everything that happens to Lloyds is greatly influenced by our MP's and the decisions they take so any comments made on this board refering to financial, political or any other are relevant and justified.
So now we have the truth of the matter, the labour party is full of *hite as well as weak and rudderless leadership but wait, did not we know that already of course we did just like we knew the tories were also *hite but with a resiliant leader who seeing all this in front of her took the only steps open to her and at the end of this sorry affair any trust that might have held sway in our parliamentary system as finally gone down the *hite hole.
A decade from now anyone with two brain cells and a criminal record will be a candidate to run for MP because anyone with dignity and self respect will not touch the job but wait the two qualifications I mentioned are held by most of the numpties there now.
This directors future renumeration is starting to look the likes of what happened prior to the financial crisis and is showing the board and ceo in a very bad light.
Sugar coating this award to themselves with reasonably good results hides nothing for those shareholders that have gone for seven years without dividends whilst the board have been drawing very nice salaries they should be bearing the weight of ppi and any other legacy costs and that should be reflected in these so called performance payments .
When those outward payments cease entirely then we can talk about performance bonus .
Just as a rider to this legacy cost, the cut off date in August is not the end of those payments ,expect a deluge of late applications which will probably take another two years to process with subsequent payments due.
Because there are few shares in circulation and the brokers holding them are after top dollar.
By heck there are a few guys getting hot under the collar this morning to the extent that their grammar is suffering and the choice of adjectives misplaced.
Cool it guys, there is enough aggro and mindless abuse in the world without it migrating to this board.
There we have it their true colours are now being flown from the mast .If anyone was in any doubt over the intentions of these non elected little dictators then this should dispel them.
We are well out of this federalist regime and the sooner the better .Recall Mrs May now and tell them to get stuffed.
Nick Ferrari summed it up nicely yesterday on the politics show,There never was a negotiation with the EU on the withdrawal agreement there was a dictat from the 27 countries who were very miffed at the thought of us leaving their warm embrace.
As for the clowns in Parliament who constantly stood in the way of May's attempts to get what she could out of the dogs dinner the Barnier team offered up, had they took the trouble to see that for what it was the whole shebang would now be done with.
There will asthis sorry affair comes home to roost be heads rolling like bowling balls in the next election.
Some dozy cow MP on the news last night complaining in the commons that she did not have anyone to look after her kids should the Easter break be cancelled and wants the government to make extra renumeration available.
Are we not paying her enough to hire some child minder, get on with life like the rest of us have to thanks to the sorry mess you got us in and that sorry mess that is now effecting everyone including you .
The Eu and its front men Barnier Tusk and the French president imposter will keep the party line and in a month's time we will be back in the commons after four more weeks of listening to that wee harp Kussenburg prophecying ,uligising and frankly ,becoming a bit of another Sturgeon .making another vote of no consequence .
The reason being is there is no exit to this blind alley the pursuing pack as driven us down and only one outcome ,One finger salute to Europe and bloody good riddance.
Tusk suggests that we cancel Brexit ,Yeah no surprise there and if anyone is in any doubt as to who's fault we are in this sorry mess just look at these tactics the EU as used in their negotiations" divide and conquer " from the very beginning .
They saw Davis as the fulcrum point to start the process turning him against the British establishment ,then when they got to May they turned her against the whole nation with the Irish ploy and all the stupid people MP's on all fronts fell for it .
So instead of backing the PM they gave the EU what they have been after from the beginning self doubt chaos and a divided nation with the ultimate result being that we stay in the EU.
Yes it really is the "Hotel California."
The first thing that a member of parliament should do is recognise their loyalty and duty is to the people that voted them in and not too their party or idealistic views on the best way to exit the EU.
There is no silver bullet to that it is what it is as voted for by the people ,one of the protaganists of the remainers Stephen Kinnock who comes from that gravy train dwelling family who reaped millions over the years in salaries from the Brussels honey pot as commissioners of transport and will continue to do so in pensions long after we've left is quoted at interview yesterday as saying we need to vote the government down and install a new hierarchy that will rescind this decision and put it back to the people.Yes he would say that because like all those other career politicians they don't give two monkeys what we want and never have they are MP's for what they get out of it and it more or less answers the question as to why this vote today is going down and the mess gets messier.
Go out on the streets and give what you intend to invest in this basket case to the homeless you will get more satisfaction than throwing your money down the drain. This company is a walking dead example and as got about two more weeks before the admin comes in.
There as to be an outcome that will suit us as a singular nation which is what the people voted for two years ago and being tied to any agreements legal or otherwise is not what we voted for .The MPs that or constantly harping on about what is good for us and doing their best to de-rail the process should be sacked as any one in a public service job that did'nt do their job would get short shrift.
Pontificating and stage grabbing individuals such as the Labour front bench and several tories have really shown what hypocritical self centred individuals they are and I hope the electorate remember these people come the next general election.
What people want is rid of this sorry mess and a clean break from non elected federalists ,lets do what we do best and lead the world not follow it like a whipped dog.
We have been witness to one of the best games of political brinkmanship in decades as TM as played the other parties like fish on the end of a line.
She as employed the two faced tactics of her own party members such as Reece -Mogg to foil Corbyn from making a move that could have brought her down .
She as called the bluff of the DUP by exposing them to their own electorates wrath.
The tactic as been from the beggining to stand firm against all and take them to a place they do not want to be .That place is what they all signed up for when the became representative of the people and to be sure most of the MPs against her deal are not doing what they signed up for.
To that end TM as exposed the rubbish parliamentarians we have lurking in the house of commons who should not be there and come the next election the people of this country will make sure they pay the price .
The issues around an orderly withdrawal from the EU is akin to the beaches of Dunkirk when the Germans were pasting the hell out of us as we tried to leave the damn place,in terms of the same aggressors we are looking at the Germans instigating the mantra and the French as usual standing by watching us getting screwed.
We all know how that ended with us laying our lives on the line to rescue Europe along with the Americans and Russians the latter having a different agenda to the rest of us .My view is that nothing as changed in Europe since the end of the second world war and we need to decide once and for all if we can go off into the world and make our own way, or be tied to this horrid unelected monster in Brussels for eternity.
The issue is not about court rulings its more about individual MP's sticking their nose in the egotistical trough and trying to thwart the peoples vote.
They are not there to quote whats best for the british people they are there to do as the british people bid and to that end just get out of the EU.
The Starmers and the Reece -Hoggs should go back to their day jobs and stop meddling in this highly volatile crisis made initially by their constant harassment of the PM whilst she was negotiating and undermining her influence with Brussels who have exploited the Parlimentary devides here to their advantage during negotiations.
The Labour party are using this crisis of their making for political gains and do not give a monkeys as to the affect on our nation.
The unfortunate end will not be borne by these fly- be -nights who will still draw their overpaid salaries and pensions long after this debacle as left us all worse off.
