Don’t forget that as soon as it hit £1.07 to £1.08 (8 days ago) it has risen to present levels.

I think it is pretty straightforward. Nobody dared sell for the last few days whilst big orders were being filled. Some might be waiting to sell and will if the sp dips but if you look at the month chart, it shows this is only headed one way without taking a breath...

It was not a criticism. It’s just clear that if any of you applied your same meticulous approach to other sectors those skills would not only be transferable, yield more but be easier IMO.

There certainly is something about these mining companies. Maybe the word is intriguing? But that of course is the twin brother of that word is confusion...

One question. Why prospective mining companies?

Go and sit on the Scancell, Angle, or DNL chat boards and read, research. Don’t invest but look at the difference in quality factual scientific discussion. Realise the quality information with which you can base decisions...

Biotech/ pharma would be a walk in the park for you guys.

Not sure about offers for SCLP. I was listening to a CEO with an proven outstanding liquid biopsy last week and he seems to think that big pharma would generally much prefer to buy the finished article with all the risky R & D done. Not only that, but the price would not be the prohibitive if the product/ip was excellent. That seems a reasonable take on big pharma purchases.

I understand Lindy is good (I say understand as I don't have the credentials to judge) but even she and Scancells therapeutics must prove themselves, over and over if needs be.

With a limited grasp of Biotech Pharma but a very big chunk of common sense, I'd say our time will come.

I will sell under performers and add more Angle if it dips. Last peer review was very impressive. I have enough in my SIPP but not my ISA.

Sells are being bought immediately so the MM get their way and the orders get filled. Not sure why anyone would sell when multiples are just 6 months or so away...

These harbingers are always hanging around scaring the living daylights out of investors. Thing is they have to be right at some point and although for the most part they are almost always wrong, they only have to be right once. Even then, not even in a big way! Just look at the last week. The mere fear of inflation spooked the markets and my portfolio was down 3%... Since then it has pretty much recovered.

I think the great shame about this week was Musk saying he doesn't want bitcoin and then days later saying doge is fine??!!
Sounds like a proper idiot to me but no doubt he made a packet and maybe has offset his 3%. Ahh!! I don't know just spit balling.

In hindsight, if I had sold down id have not only save 3% losses but gained a little as the markets recovered.

It did make me think i could have sold the lot and kept £5 to £10k cash for trades only! I am joking but also thinking it makes some sense!

Very pleased with my profit on pere. Great tip from St Tropez in good time as well! John, quick exit encouraged me to do the same and it was a good job I followed you! KOD was probably a mistake as it’s only just in profit will sell for 15 or 20% and I’d be lucky. Overall I have made 2% trading over my entire portfolio so can’t complain the last 2 weeks.

Only thing I am not pleased about is that I am still holding GRL, KOD, and ORR. All should be fine but my rather small trading pot is tied up. I guess that will happen until it grows...

Still have all my conviction stocks and have added here and there.

Mentioned this elsewhere and it is so true. Falling in love with a stock can be financially catastrophic...

Remain objective and lucid and you can at least say you used your head and not your heart to make investment decisions.

Facts are facts however and Mr Newland and the team at Angle put forward a compelling argument for Parsortix.

Remember objectivity! It’s a bit of everything; trading , going long etc. The great liberating thing about trading is objectivity. You see everything and not just one share or one type of trade or sector. Not a problem to let love evolve into something much more useful and objective like conviction but it needs to be backed up by fact, method and experience.

Objectivity is your helicopter, it allows you to see everything!

Finally, Troajan makes a good point. Maybe if we are going to make money in the good times we should always facilitate a method to accumulate something tangible for the bad, like I don’t know cash, a car, house, or a yacht.

Now I have targeted 30% profit or there abouts. Higher or lower Is fine as long as I sell, that is the important thing...At least until I get good at this.

If I sell every time and make a profit I could make a daily/weekly target with ease. It is all about identifying the value to be gained and taking it in a relatively short time frame (hours or days). No point having a trading pot if it turns into a LTH.

I intend to let grl go at around 17p or if Orr gets to say 1.4 or 1.5 then I will sell them as a job lot.

I am trying to target 30% profit and then drop them. Already I am getting greedy with Orr as I have done that already. Very hard discipline trading especially for a noob like me lol!

Re pre production miners I need to understand the process and especially valuations much better.
