First time investing and you invested in this! Wow! My first investment was Lgen at £1.62. They had been trading easily between £2.70 and £3.10 directly before covid. Sold out at £2.39 and will wait for it to drop again below £2. Not suggesting that you should do the same by any means but GDR is a growth play. That means it has to grow from 9p to £1, £2 or £3. On its journey it will get rinsed by II and ragged around all over the place by the MM. It is a good investment that will make it in the end IMO. But investing can be easier than this! If you have held through all this then I hope you have all learned from the experience. Good on you and good luck!

To be fair, this kind of oil play is always going to need cash. Even if/when merged company is successful, it will need constant cash to grow. We as investors can only concern ourselves with the potential upside whilst being mindful of the way cash is generated. There are no fundamentals as such at this level. To suggest that either company needs cash is blindingly obvious.

Don't buy in the first hour is the normal rule for buying, however, :-))) This stock has been raising every day for the last week. I am not suggesting that you might miss out as that is ramping. However, a lot of us have just taken the plunge, could have gone either way but it has been a dream for me. Lovely Jubbly Rodders!!! and DYOR!!!

I agree with you Stan. I tend to watch my investments and dip into the board chats that are positive and informative. This board is currently one of the better ones. I don't get wrapped up in what others say either. It is a slippery slope!

It would be great to hear some news regarding other developments, that can only come from the BoD. People could easily waste a lifetime on the boards waiting for RNS's promised by other posters.

I am not evening thinking about 1p, that extra .05p to make it 1.5 is 50% extra at the end of the day. I can see a lot of traders selling for less. Thats just foolish IMO.

Do we want main press coverage right now? What with the government failed APP.
