Ctdna has great benefits in the way it helps the clinicians fully form their prognosis, in the sense it gives a great understanding of how effective the current form of drugs is working on the cancer, but as it's heterogeneous you need constant monitoring of the both substrates as it will behave differently to the drugs month after month, the NGS part is still huge as it's more than half as good again in detecting full variety of genetic markers giving the option for multi pronged attacks
