In the first paragraph 2. Summary
it says:
Summary
In the opinion, the Sami Parliament makes the overall assessment that reindeer husbandry in the area is
the land use that most appropriately promotes long-term management of the land, water and the physical
environment in general based on ecological, social and socio-economic considerations. Based on this
conclusion, the national interest in reindeer husbandry should be given priority over the national interest
in minerals. In addition, taking into account Sweden's international and national commitments to the Sami
people means that the processing concession for Kallak K no. 1 should not be granted.
It's long winded. Goes on a lot about raindeer husbandry, management of water and land. You'll have to read it yourself lol, but
Here's the last 3 paragraphs.
According to the County Administrative Board, a mining operation with an estimated lifespan of about
fourteen years (excluding construction and decommissioning) that involves significant government
investment costs for necessary infrastructure is neither considered to be socio-economically justified nor
sensible use of natural resources in general. Not least from a long-term perspective and in the light of
the Environmental Code's goal clause on sustainable development that ensures current and future
generations a healthy and good environment and human responsibility to manage nature well and the
Code's principles of good management.37
To reward a mining production in the area with the support of the deficient data described by the County
Administrative Board is considered by the Sami Parliament to be highly risky from a socio-economic
perspective. With the establishment of a mine in the area, the social, cultural and ecological sustainability of
reindeer husbandry is destroyed. Reindeer husbandry and other Sami industries in the area are nature-
based with the common goal of long-term sustainability. To then limit the opportunities of these industries
in favor of a relatively short-term mining establishment, damages the credibility of an argument based on
the necessity of the mining establishment as part of the green transition.
Overall, the Sami Parliament considers that reindeer husbandry in the area is the land use that most
appropriately promotes long-term management of the land, water and the physical environment in general
based on ecological, social and socio-economic considerations. Based on this conclusion, the national
interest in reindeer husbandry shall be given priority over the national interest in minerals. In addition,
taking into account Sweden's international and national commitments to the Sami people means that the
processing concession for Kallak K no. 1 will not be granted.

The Swedes on the FB page don't seem here nor there. Other than Thor liking mines that's about it. Still if that's the case, he could open up mine after mine and kick-start something really REALLY big. As long as all other documents and environmental crap pans out. He could bring in a lot of tax returns for the government
Program starts at 20:15 UK time.
The whole mining game in Sweden is getting ALOT of attention because of the Government and Minsters stand on it. They want mines because mines bring jobs, jobs in remote areas will help improve local communities through taxes. Less help needed from government. Self sufficient. Mines will invest in infrastructure to get materials in and out. Win win all round, expect for the Raindeer herding. But Beowulf will be mining 0.14% of the land they roam on. Once the mine is finished 20,30,40 years from now it can be filled back in, planted on or filled with water.
Let us know what they say tonight.
