Nasdaq tech stocks bounced back from bottom to reach new heights while LSE continues it stagnancy or downfall. Darktrace is still going strong as a company but I have completely lost faith in LSE. I finally bite the bullet and sold out over the last few days, at huge loss. However, it brings me peace of mind, without having to go through mental suffering like I would have this morning. Now I can move on to live my life.
It really has become a waste of time reading comments here. In the early days, people were sharing useful information about the company. Nowadays, it just become a place for traders to drum up the company when they have acquired shares, and trash down the company after they sold them. Nah, just don't listen to anybody here. You can play along with the traders, otherwise, you either sold out and move on; or just to hold until this company get bought over.
The result itself is not too exciting but the significance of it is that the business is moving in an up trend, signalling it should only get better from now. This is in stark contrast to Oxford Nanopore which announced profit warning and have today reached all time low. Eventually, the business value will be reflected on the share price. I'm looking forward to a good half year to come.
Guilty or not, the ML case must conclude to remove this big uncertainty factor for potential buyers. I think that is at least 9 months away. I really should just stop looking at the share price.
It is amazing that Darktrace and all those big shareholders just sit there and watch their fortune driven down in 100s of millions on minuscule volume, rather than spending a few millions to buy (back) the shares to prop up the share price.
On the day of CTO share sell, market closed at 372.10 and today closed at 351.50. So if we neglect the two days in between, the shares fell 5.5% which is not too steep compared to director share sales in the past. Well, if that makes you feel better for Christmas.
