Yes they coud go electric dodgeroo - but - will they. Politicians cant run the country so need lead from them - upto consumers like here - supply and deman of product. Good time to invest in EV and Storage stocks as materials in short supply due to Trump trade wars.

Us "mere mortals" have done a lot better even than HL who were among those who hyped up Woodford 5/6 years ago. I watched his funds performance whilst my FAANG fund was making 18-20% per year and HL continued to hype him up as they do thier own funds. I was suspicious from the start and was proved right over 5 years. I am a mere mortal and have learnt many lessons about investing - Woodford hype was one of them - like so many. Do your research and trust in YOUR own judgement not someone elses. And what second rate financial advisor was giving financial advice to the Kent CC - unbelievable BS. All councils should come us "mere mortals" for advice me thinks !!
